I DO see the value in having a team ready for this kind of work. The article is borderline comical though.

Well it says they will be looking for evidence of terrorist activity. That doesn't necessarily mean they are looking for underwater bases.

0:18-0:25 favorite part of the video. They are certifying 10 man teams to do diving operations up to 300 ft. For evidence recovery operations that include chemical, biological, radiological nuclear type diving. Wow, they are going to find a lot of U.S. history down there on where all those chemicals have been going. This is a joke. Seriously that's like saying if there was a shark attack, and someone was unfortunately killed that they are going to conduct a 10 man search team under water to find evidence of which shark committed the murder.....

Why do you mock the idea having specialized teams like these? Its called being prepared. And if you become fearful of these articles then its your problem. I read it and didn't feel as if it was meant to instill fear in me.More like inform me that the govt. is taking steps to protect me. Just my opinion of course.
