Over who can show the most UFO related programs in one day.

Never seen so much alien shows at one time. We used to get one every now and then and that was only a couple of years ago.

Now we have Ancient Aliens, UFO Hunters, UFO files, Nazi UFOs, a documentary on how to survive an alien invasion and 2 or 3 others that ive forgotten the name of.

are they showing these because thats what the audience is wanting these days.... Or is there a hidden agenda. Even Nat GEo gets in on the act every now and then.

The alien/UFO TV shows are awful compared to hands on digging and deep researching online.
Those channels can't even hold a candle to ATS even, and this forum has strict censorship to it.

I am pretty sure that both channels are owned
by the same parent company along with a few other channels....

Well, NatGeo is owned by News Corp., who also owns Fox, and The History Channel is owned by a whole hodgepodge of the big baddies; Hearst Corp., Disney & NBC Universal (Comcast and General Electric). You might as well just plug brainwashing electrodes into your brain if you're going to watch these channels. As far a Discovery Channel goes, everything I find says it's independently owned by Discovery Communications and I can't find any seedy affiliations. Anyone else know otherwise?

Nope. General Electric owns the History Channel and from what I can find Discovery Channel is owned by David Zaslav as of 2010.

All that matters is that they play golf together and get invited to the naked saunas at Bohemian Grove.

I have to choose between The Pseudo-History Channel and The tough guy crabbing channel? Then there's the 9-11 and JFK conspiracy debunking channel, also known as Nat Geo. May as well watch Fake News or MSNBS.
Although that Ancient Alien show is good for laughs. That guy's hair kills me every time.

UFO Hunters is over! Bill Birnes pissed off so much TPTB, arguing with military personnel and shooting footages near military bases, that they shut down the show. I like it a lot. The production of the show used to sabotage Birnes a lot, with that skeptic guy and the final status of each single episode was always inconclusive, but I liked the style they poked TPTB. Birnes now is part of HC's Ancient Aliens team.

I think it has more to do with scientific findings throughout the world in terms of how old structures are. We have new info coming out that calls into question some basic principles of physics.

To top it off I just think its one of toe topics that until we find an answer one way or the other, will always be present in society. Why not make some cash off it with some shows?

Win win in my opinion. The channels make money and it applies pressure in some areas on science to be more open minded.

No "hidden agenda" here, The Powers That Be are finally trying to tell us. What better way could you think of? The TV media is getting us ready for ET.

Ive thought about this and it really is goofy the way all of this has progressed. Back in the day the mind set was it would create mass panic among the people, ramifications on religion etc etc etc.

Today, people are pretty much accusing the government of lieing, and demand they tell the truth, yet they have not bothered to address it in that manner.

Why use tv shows when its becoming very evident the people are more upset about not being told about ET than they are qabout what ET may do to us.

The nail in the coffin of the existence of ET to me was the Catholic church's position on the topic.

I think it has to do with the Mayan calendar coming to an end in 2012. Aliens and Mayans are known to have interacted in the past according to ancient hieroglyphics. And so more and more people are wondering about aliens as we approach the end of the calendar, giving rise to all of the Alien theme shows/movies. I think something big will go down sometime next year, either a fake invasion or the real deal. I just have a gut feeling about this, so don't quote me on it.

The Green Channel has also seemed to have turned into an alien conspiracy channel. They show a lot of UFO documents, especially on Fridays. Nazi UFO Conspiracy, Phoenix Lights, the horrible "World's Strangest UFO Stories" series...

The Biography channel also has it's share of UFO/Ghosts/Cryptid/Bermuda Triangle-related shows.

I liked MUFON's "UFOs Over Earth", I'm not sure which network that was on. From what I saw, the team seemed to take a much more scientific and skeptical approach than UFO Hunters.
