I just reformatted my comp and it won't let me copy and paste pics to paint for some reason. Can someone plese re-size this image for my avatar:

It really doesn't turn out very good at this size.

Oh there are ways KL. Plus did a bit of font rework. The white was quite bad. Normally though, the best way to resize is *trade secret removed*.

Ive always found that the best way to resize a large image is to blur it while its big, and then resize. Try that next time and see if it works as good

Well, reduce by NOT more than 50% at a time is the Adobe recommended method.

MY recommended photoshop method is select the object (layer) and then use:
EDIT>TRANSFORM>SCALE

Hold the SHIFT key and grab a corner and drag. It will stay in proportion by holding the shift key. When you are done, click any other tool. A box will ask if you wish to commit the change, say yes.

Watch in amazement as photoshop makes the whole thing very clear. Fonts and all!

This works for downsizing. It will work for upsizing a bit, but not too much. Nothing upsizes very well so avoid doing it...but in a pinch, this method is best as well.
