Can she get a muffler on the gun?

If not, I would suggest another type of sport. If target hitting must be part of it, try archery. My brother's girlfriend and his daughter both enjoy it.

Sound is a big thing in intrauterine existence.

It wouldn't be too wise.

do most of you people actually look at the links provided in the OP? Probably not is my guess!!!! she is talking about shooting air soft guns for cryin' out loud. It's perfectly safe for you OP to shoot those while pregnant. You could even go shoot a .22 and that would be fine. Some women shoot big guns all through a pregnancy, but I disagree with it. You don't know what effects it might have on the baby. I'm sure shooting at something to blow off some steam while pregnant would do ya some good

Air guns are much quieter, that is true. I tried them. You have a point.

First of all, congratulations to you and your girlfriend, next, not trying to be ignorant, but how are you going to put ear plugs on the baby?

Congrats.... Is it so much of a debate that it is not feasible to just not go to the range during the pregnancy? I mean, there is no explicit reason to “have to” go shooting during the pregnancy. Much like not drinking or smoking during the pregnancy…

I don't think she'll have any trouble shooting an airsoft rifle lol

rifles should have sound suppressors on them, anyway, it is one of their main advantages over pistols and shotguns, in my book. Except for .22's, canned pistols are too bulky, they lose the one advantage that a pistol has over a longarm, speed into action from concealment. There is no such thing as an effective flashhider or silencer fora shotgun. The Sons of Guns model made a 12 ga sound like a .45 pistol. whooppee.
