It is quite the video and appears to be an object other than a plane. I could be proven wrong though as some have posted videos of contrails, but I
think this one looks different.
i think that makes compelling evidence of *somthing* breaking up, for sure.
Weather its the satallite, or a meteor i couldnt say for sure. But that is somthing breaking up and very high speed, id think a meteor would have
been 'faster' and smaller which is why as an ameture im leaning toward the or a satallite.
with the noise its sounds like an engine of some type and then when they zoom in it looks like their are 3 rocket exhausts...so im going to think
maybe a missile launch? or rocket test?
That looks like a launch of some sort, to me. I live in Japan. I'll look over the local news channels and see if there's anything being mentioned
about it.
On what is assumed to be the final orbit, the UARS would not have been visible from Japan. Basically, drawing a line on a globe from between New
Zealand and Australia up through the SE corner of Alaska was the final trans-Pacific crossing as memory serves. I am pretty sure it was even East of
Hawaii.
I think it would have had to have made at least two more orbits to have passed in sight of Japan.
Far, far too slow for a re-entry and as pointed out, UARS got nowhere near Japan on its final orbit.
Yet another sunlit contrail being misidentified. www.youtube.com... www.youtube.com...
