I don't know, the owners of that site seem to throw a fit once month and take the site down.....

I think it gets hacked on occasion too.

I never did get why anyone likes that site.

I remember, I joined once. I got banned after five minutes. Why? I responded to a thread, that was bitching about Bill, My crime? I said I like ATS.....

The site, the owners and a good deal of the members are so childish. Every time I have gone there to look around, I see nothing but people attacking each other and calling each other names.

I stick with ATS for a reason. Sure, ATS is not perfect, but it is the closest thing to perfect, that you will find in a site like this.

imo, it hardly "rivals" ats, ats is a big money making machine, GLP is unlike ATS, supported "allegedly" by

Something is not right!

I also was reading in GLP about the "out of scale" solar storm that had just started. It was less than 1 hour ago. Then I had to go out for a few minutes, and when I came back, the website was offline!

The solar storm of this afternoon seems to be very big. I'm concerned.

couldn't have said it better really, I visit sometimes to see if they have any info that isn't here, or maybe I missed along the dusty trail. I have a theory but its a wild guess tbh, maybe they are worried about the solar activity so they took the physical server and put it in shielding hm...on second thought maybe not. must be the doom.

I've been Reading it now and then lately and i can't deny it is entertaining, most of it is clearly works of fiction but at least the majority of threads aren't instantly populated by 100's of people 'debunking' without looking at the information. which does seem to be the trend on Ats threads these days. I for one wouldn't feel comfortable posting an experience on here if I had one just for the sheer abuse I would take, any point to it or hope of discussion would likely get lost.

glp relies on donations, yes, but they are also owned by.....well, just google it. you will see they are the pocket of TPTB.
and the "owner" has a filthy attitude, literally telling people if they dont like something he says or does they can go f- themselves. yeah, like i want to be part of that forum. As for ats being a money machine, good for them. they have ever asked me for a penny. what do i care.

Its just another desperate attempt to improve their traffic this happens about twice a year or more just alot of drama on Glp's part ..I have no desire to even go there seems like a bunch of foul mouth people that post there and the mods do nothing to clean the site up..Peace,sugarcookie1

The only thing i ever liked about GLP was they would ban anyone and everyone that used my Internet provider just to ban me.

I would make post to get banned just so no one else where i lived could visit GLP.

There is a tin foil hat lady down the street that just loves GLP and uses the same provider.
