Yes I did, which is how I know the conspiracy people have been quoting that out of context too. There is no "New Pearl Harbor" plan written into
the PNAC document. All the thing said was that the US should use its military supremacy to create an "American Peace", which really has been the de
facto US foreign policy since Truman. The "New Pearl Harbor" was only one single phrase in only one single sentence throughout the entire
document so the only reason why you're zeroing in on that one phrase is because you want to milk it for your benefit. It's the reason why you quote
that rather than "American Peace".
If anything, what we have now is about the exact opposite of any American Peace as it can get. The entire concept of an American Peace was to be the
dominant power in the world as long as possible, and the 9/11 attack directly resulted in our NOT being the world's dominant power anymore. We've
stirred up a hornet's nest in the mideast and Russia and China are expanding their own military power throughout the world. Plus, Iran is by far the
most dominant power in the mideast.
The question therefore is, did YOU read the PNAC article?
