And all I've been hearing from the media is, "Whoever wins this poll will most likely be the republican nominee."

How can they make that statement? Are they giving this way more attention because Perry and/or Romney have big followings there?

If Florida was a Ron Paul stronghold, they would not be saying that.

Old retired people like "smooth talkers and charmers". So clearly Romney will win today, that's why the media is saying this poll is the "8 ball."

# them.

Edit: Am I missing something? I can't find much information about it. It is tonight, correct?

Just days ahead of Florida's straw poll, Florida's Republican Party Communications Director Brian Hughes explained to "Power Play Live" host Chris Stirewalt just how big the sunshine state showdown really is. "The winner of the Presidency 5 straw poll is going to be the Republican nominee," Hughes said. He also explained the difference between his state's contest and the Iowa Straw Poll held in August. You can see the entire exchange below and catch Power Play Live each weekday at 1130am EDT at live.foxnews.com.... Read more: politics.blogs.foxnews.com...

Well of course, because you media actors know Romney will win.

Hermain Cain wins the straw poll, followed by Rick Perry.

I LOVE HERMAN CAIN!!!

After watching the Florida debate the other night, I was very pessimistic about this race. The 2 "frontrunners" looked very "high school" to me. I felt like I did in 2007 when McCain was shoved down our throats.

Now, I'm hoping what the Florida governor said is true....he said the last 3 winners of the FL straw poll went on to get the nomination, and that the winner today would be the candidate.

I think it's time to send Herman Cain a campaign contribution.

I would much rather have Cain than Romney or Perry. They are both fake.

I agree, I've been a Herman Cain supporter since he announced his intent to run. This country needs a businessman not a politician right now. Politicians( of both sides) put us in this predicament. We need someone who knows how to turn a profit to get us on the right track. Someone not afraid of confrontation and who actually understands economics.

Ron Paul came in 5th place? Behind Santorum?

Supporters must have been napping. It's over for the old man.
