It may have a tail of debris, but I'm really hoping somebody is calculating and planning to shoot it down as it slows. Otherwise, it doesn't say much to me about their star wars shield.

Still using orbitron? Do a test. Unplug your PC from the modem or shut off your net connection to see if your still getting data. I don't think orbitron can do Real real time, just real simulated predictions on where it's stable path should be.

I have yet to get a software app working good for Real real time. Or are you refreshing the data manually?

I've stuck to watching it on www.spaceflightnow.com...

From what I'm seeing online, if NASA is correct this could be it's last 10-15mins.. (I hope I've got that right)

If it lands at your house, the legal thing to do is contact NASA because it is their property. If you try to sell it then you're breaking the law.

If you could point out the law that I'd be breaking, please point it out.

I don't care who owns any object that hits my house at 17,000 mph.
We'll be negotiating at that point, for sure.

I think it would be cool it it crashed in Russia. The US Military would come around and ask Where is our satellite? Putin would reply, Satellite? I didn't see any satellite. Boris did you see a satellite? No I didn't see any satellite. Sorry you came all this way for nothing but here.. have some vodka and borshch.

Not sure how accurate this would be but in this 'simulation' UARS is just approaching New Zealand?
