Error in Counting Flags

Good morning. While perusing the "New Topics" page, I noticed that the ATS software is mis-counting flags. See this thread.

What's up with that?

Hi windword - hope your Friday is going great - just wanted to say, not sure how the system works, but how is the thread you put up showing a miscount in flags? Just curious because I often see a thread (even my own) with one or two responses but several flags and stars...

You can easily post a star without commenting.....do it all the time

Mornin, Coloradojens! On my display it says 13 Falgs, but when counted there are only 7

I'm talking about the flags that are counted up by the headline, not stars. Stars could be off too, but that's too hard to count. lol

The stars on a post (even the OP post) are not connected to the flag system.

A thread can be flagged without starring it. Like wise, a star can be given, but the thread not flagged.

I'm not talking about stars. I'm talking about the flags. The headline post count is different that the actual number of flags. I've never seen this before today.

This one actually has 5 flags, but the headline display only counts 3. Weird!
AGAIN, I never seen this before today. Is ATS being hacked?

Another HERE It actually has 2 stars but is registering 3.

Just so you know...a member may Un-Flag a thread as well which would compensate for the fluctuation in missing flags.
