Some strange genetic idea's......, page 1

1. What would happen if you took a virus and made it able to transmit genetic material (en.wikipedia.org...) of one person and have that it essentially clone that person making in theory everyone a clone of the first person to invent it?

2. What about taking a similar idea to that and have the virus go to a close relative of humans like a chimpanzee, and then having a time delay so that if humans go extinct this "backup" would arise naturally and survive do to comparable future conditions?

Were you watching doctor who ? Sounds like some # I've seen or heard somewhere. Some of these ideas start meshing together after awhile

Well a third idea is just put it in some small drones and have them do the genetic alterations.

Plus if a habitable planet was found we just sent them on a probe that is the size of a pop can and spread humans through whatever live is already there. With the proper gene alterations of course.
