how do you expect the collapse of the majority of the building to be explained if you only look at a few floors? the 20% could have been just the
falling top floors which wouldn't be a good approximation of the overall collapse at all. besides, you want to know where the evidence for explosives
went? there would be no reason to plant any devices in the top floors if you planned to destroy the rest of the building, so if only the top floors
were inspected (as is possible), this would also give a very inaccurate view of reality.
btw. why investigate for controlled demolition? even if you want to toss out all the witness testimony, police, firefighters, and citizens, of bombs
going off in the basement before the plane ever hit, and the molten steel, and explosion sounds, it is actually the protocol to investigate for bombs
and explosives/controlled demolition.
seems like everyone made up their minds pretty quickly.
