No Debate Access: McCotter drops out of GOP Race

Who? Most people have probably not even heard of this guy. I probably wouldn't if I didn't live in Michigan, too..and even then, I only paid attention because he is from my home state.

I really think the debates should be open to all potential candidates, it should NOT be the function of the media to decide who can debate for POTUS.

Livonia Rep. Thaddeus McCotter told The Detroit News this afternoon that he is leaving the race for the Republican presidential nomination after he failed to win access to the Republican presidential debates.

"If they keep you out of the debates, you are out of the conversation and you can't run," McCotter said. "It was sort of death by media."

As if people need further proof that the media have a choke hold on information regarding political candidates. I looked up some of the other candidates and I liked what some of them stood for. My opinion is that some of them could be doing well right now if not for the media blocking them from being heard.
