This thread is in regards to Apple Macs music software: Logic Pro and what seems to be a deliberate limitation on its tone oscillator. Now before i go into this, for those who have no idea what either Logic pro or a tone oscillator are they are as follows.

Logic Pro - Apple macs music studio software. Allowing for recording, editing and manipulating audio aswell as a bank of emulated instruments.

Tone oscillator - A plug in (virtual) instrument/piece of equipment. In this case an oscillating tone and controls to change the tone to any given frequency.

Now that is cleared up or revised, on to what i have found. The tone oscillator will allow any frequency from 20 to 20,000 hertz to be played..... Well, most frequencies in this range. It will not allow any sacred frequencies to be played! Here is a link describing the sacred frequencies and their effects.

www.esotericonline.net...

Here they are if you can't link it.

UT - 396 Hz
-associated with releasing emotional patterns after: see RE-417Hz below.
RE - 417 Hz
-associated with breaking up crystalized emotional patterns
MI - 528 Hz
- relates to crown chakra; Dr. Puleo suggests an association with "DNA integrity"
FA - 639 Hz
- associated with whole brain quadrant interconnectedness
SOL - 741 Hz
- associated with intuitive states, non linear knowing
LA - 852 Hz
- associated with a pure love frequency: unconditional love.

If you put a enter a random frequency, say 864Hz it plays a tone at 864Hz. Now when i input 852Hz (the frequency of unconditional love) the tone oscillator plays 852.10 Hz! I have tried this for all these and other sacred frequencies and it always moves the frequency above or below the mark. Sometimes .10 and sometimes much more. If anybody else has Logic, please try it and see if you get the same results.

If like me you do not believe in coincidence, especially from a company like Apple ( with a bite taken) then this is surely a counter measure taken to ensure Logic users cannot blast unconditional love at high volumes upon themselves.... Unless you create a binaural beat. But that's another story.

Peace and 852Hz to you all xo

Thank you for the information. As I do not have Logic Pro, I have friends that do and will take a look see.

You haven't been able to get real music since vinyl . Simple fact

Doesnt all music play at the wrong frequency anyway? Theres a natural 'frequency' that instruments used to be tuned to and this was suddenly changed. Cant remember what the old frequency was thoough,

Absolutely right. Digital music cannot give you real sounds; it's way too limited. I have a recording studio at home and it's very annoying to be unable to record what I'm actually playing; analog gave you the quality, digital doesn not.

Worse, Apple uses mp3 type technology. Why do you thing the files are so small? Because most of the music is not even there. That's why crappy music now rules; with mp3, you can't hear the difference between high quality recordings and low quality ones.

Once you get back to analog, you can't bear to listen to today's music.

So, not a conspiracy, just limitations in the technology.

Audacity can generate these tones.
Seems weird that a program would block certain tones.

all I know is if my frequencys are off by 0.001 I won't use the software. that sort of subtle change can really screw with certain phase based effects. apple 1, windows 1, so far today. nice job lunix at not failing.

Download TrueRTA and blast those frequencies over the top of your music while going to sleep. You'll see what I mean in a week

Ps. Good find S&F

It's a well known fact on the Logic forum that the oscillator is somewhat lacking. There is no conspiracy here. Just bad algorithms. People have problems with all types of frequencies when using it. Use a plugin instead. Incidentally, are you using a sine wave? What key are you trying to generate these tones in?

Well that explains why music is so much less enjoyable through itunes or any digitally reproduced music. Thanks OP S&F for your discovery. Like someone stated above the only true form of music recreation is Vinyl..A lot of rap/singing concerts now a days just hook a CD player to their mixers and play digital signals through their mixers/loudspeakers. It's sad because not only is there a basic lack of performance, but we as customers don't get the Rush of Pure Raw Music that we have come to expect in live performances...

I went to Panama City, Panama's Schools Battle of The Bands and it was probably the most exhilarating performance I've been to in 15years. Imagine like 8 schools lining up in huge formations facing each other in the middle of a huge city, battling each other in a completely organized fashion for the whole city to enjoy for free. Gives me Goosebumbs just remembering the enthusiasm/excitement everybody was sharing in..

Heh, by looking at some Apple fanatics, it is very plausible
They even like being tracked all the time by their sacred company

But... nah, i don't believe it

432 Harmonic Startovarius are tuned and opera singers can hit every octave when the orchestra is tuned to 432.
It is the closest frequency to balanced harmony.

Analogue was always better and has always been known to be better at capturing sound. The only reason most of the world switched to digital is because unfortunately we seem to like simple, time effective and most of the time cheaper ways to do pretty much anything. From food shopping to Music recording haha.

The original intent of this thread was to draw upon the fact that it will not play these frequencies in particular. There are actually many more frequencies considered sacred or positive frequencies that it will also not play. I am well aware of the flaws in the program in terms of recording and audio playback but we are talking about a simple tone oscillator here guys. Pick any other frequency not in the near range of the 'sacred frequencies' and it will play it no problem. Even to the second decimal place, ie. 455.53Hz.

Good point mentioning the fact that a lot of commercial music is recorded on programs like these and therefore the true tone and frequencies are probably pretty fuzzy. I think we have cracked a major mystery here though guys.....

'The real reason behind the trash on the radio' haha

The only real way you will see what i am saying is to try it yourself. I am using logic pro 8 by the way. Peacexo

I downloaded the program for free off the Internet. Just enter your desired frequency in the box and it will play. You can open multiple windows to do different frequencies at the same time.
I experimented with binaural and also with playing straight solfeggio notes in combination. I used this in conjunction with soothing music I normally fall asleep to.

Within a week I was experiencing what I can only describe as 'strangeness' during waking hours. I was eager to play my music and tones all the time and all I wanted to do was lay down and drift off to them.

A week after that I was having third-person conversations with friends in what I believe is known as 'Godhead'.

I had to stop shortly thereafter as I still have to stick to the constraints of 'normal' society, though I will be revisiting that place when it's time for me to go.

Give it a try if you're mentally strong
and don't have much planned for a month or so. You may get something from it.

Nice. Looks like quite a useful little program there. I have had some great experiences listening to frequencies. There is an album called Brainwave mind Voyages that has all the frequencies in the OP in stereo with a subtle recording of the ocean played behind them. Its pretty incredible. Try and download that if you can.

It says it requires to run on windows and i am on a mac though....
