The sun has been very active lately, and seem to be ramping up a bit. These coincidences around the September 27th date are so very strange! Great pictures and thanks for the thread.

Oh and Edit to add.....let us not forget what they are now saying about flares and how they believe now there are "aftershocks" that are four times stronger than the initial flare.

The biggest problem with ATS anymore is that threads turn almost entirely off-subject into personal battles. PLEASE quit bickering and don't do that to this thread!!!!

Perhaps the thread where you used 2 completely different kinds of images and claimed it was PROOF that Elenin was had broken up and weakened destroyed the credibility, so much so that the thread had to be closed.

And when you jump on top of something with off-topic banter, it riles some people.

Reporting on a flare and saying it is not earth-directed does NOT mean you need to come in and say "IT IS NOT EARTH DIRECTED".

We already know...and it seems smug somehow to see it repeated that way.
