It makes the ufo theory look lame. If remote control can make it look like a ufo, then the ufo world has another mountain to climb, I wonder what theories come from this.

Singapore isn't very far from where I live - I'll have to try and find out where they sell these and get one!

That's just a couple which actually have Singapore in the title. They've been showing up for a while.

If you think that these crappy kites will ever be the reason for all UFO cases you are seriously Also fail at linling the video properly.

How about, another object to be dismissed when dealing with real cases. Here is what a laser kite looks like at night:



It could look like a UFO with its motion and seen from far distance but UFOs still behave differently. So no, whenever there is something real, only clueless people will confuse the kite and think it is a UFO.

But sadly this also means that some shallow people will immediately say 'oh it was a kite' even if they dont know... It's just the new weather balloon, so skeptics can now call all UFOs kites, not that some aren't but all? ,,

You're so defensive you missed the point.

No one is saying that all UFO sightings are kites with LEDs on them.
The point is that people will use videos of kites (and RC planes) with LEDs on them as hoaxes.
The point is that people will see kites with LEDs on them and have no idea what they are looking at.

There are plenty of UFOs which look nothing like kites with LEDs on them. Those UFOs are not kites with LEDs on them. They are other things.

We can do away with exotic explanations like ball lightning and temperature inversions coupled with swamp gas. If cgi won't cut it, you got chinese lanterns, draganflyers, weather balloons, rc planes, and now laser kites.
