TOO many coincidences for this coming weekend/week???

Okay, I am not an "Elenintard" or one of those names people call anyone who has the word "Elenin" in their threads, so please don't start with that. I have always felt the name calling to be quite rude and unnecessary, actually (I am, in fact, NOT a "believer" in the Elenin alignment theories. But I have to admit I have enjoyed reading all of the conspiracy theories put forth. That's why I am here on ATS!)

Since I was a child watching Leonard Nimoy on "In Search Of...", I have always been interested in crazy theories and unexplained mysteries. ATS is right up my alley. Even though I don't believe in all of the crazy theories, I know that there's got to be some nuggets of truth hidden within the craziness. Either way, I enjoy reading. I usually don't post in any of the "crazier" threads, and stick to politics, which is crazy enough for me! ;-)

So, after reading for weeks (months?) about the "alignment dates" coming up around September 26th/27th, or somewhere around these dates, and watching everyone be completely ridiculed for their ideas, I had pretty much come to the conclusion that nothing was going to happen, the comet had broken up, and even if it didn't break up, a comet couldn't have any affect on earth.

But what is freaky is all of the coincidences related to predictions I have seen that have ALL come together around these dates. Here is the list of what seems to be converging:

1) Elenin (which I admit --the "theories" sound like rubbish) in "alignment", and the dates of Sept. 26th-27th-ish were supposed to be the problem

2) Obama is going to Denver (where the "secret bunker" is) RIGHT at the same time as this mysterious "alignment"

3) Denver is having an emergency drill on September 23rd, and has told everyone in Denver that they should not be concerned at all of the loud sounds and strange exercises www.omegaresponders.org...,R

4) Denver's emergency drill is called "Operation Mountain Guardian"

5) The emergency drill on 9/11 that coincidentally matched the terrorist attacks was called "Operation VIGILANT Guardian"

6) And OH YEAH---we have a satellite that is crashing to earth somewhere between Canada and South America...right at the same time!

Anyone else have the hairs standing up on the back of their neck over this list of coincidences? I feel silly feeling this way, but doesn't the list seem strange?

Please don't ridicule me! It's fine to reassure me that absolutely nothing will happen, but I'd really like to NOT be mocked...note that this thread is very out of character for me. I've never been one to run around screaming that "the sky is falling".

Did anyone also notice that the pope and all other officals and crap where flying into that area?
Also, notice how they wern't trying to be subtle AT ALL. Thats whats really got me worried.

Oh well, i have medical supplies and food, and the most valuable resource of all: Jean M Auels: Clan of the cave bear books. They tell you in detail how to live off of the land.

Where did you hear the Pope was also going to be there??? I hadn't heard that. But if it is true, that is even FREAKIER!!!

EDIT: I just looked at the Vatican website, and they are reporting that the Pope will be in Germany through the 26th. So I do not think the Pope is going to be in Denver.

Have they given a date as to when they think the satellite will fall? It would be very suspicious if it fell around the same time as whenever this comet does whatever it does. Do you think the Palestine UN bid has anything to do with this? It is occurring around the same time frame.

On one hand I hope nothing happens and we are all just very paranoid, and on the other hand I am ready to get the show on the road already. Either way, I am watching the events of the coming days closely.

Although---that doesn't actually make me feel better. Too much ATS has made me jaded. Are they REALLY going to announce to the world, "Holy Crap! It's heading for DENVER!!!" Doubtful.

As always, we must wait and see what goes down. Just be prepared for anything, keep your families close, and your weapons even closer

I live north of Denver. I have never jumped on the conspiracy bandwagon till now. Too much is happening to push it aside like I used to. Throughout the day at my boring job, I developed a theory. If I wanted to hide something big, I would do A. Lie and say everything is ok and normal B. Create a story that is so outrageous that it would be hard to believe (Hollywood does this i.e. 2012, Knowing, Deep Impact, etc) and no one would believe it could be true, there for blinding them from the truth. C. Do everything possible to make the ones that do believe to be nuts and wakos. Is this what has been done to us? Have we all been lied to?

My other theory that is related to this is this; What would be one way for the whole world to stop fighting against each other and come together? A force from outside of this world that would unit humans to fight a common enemy (Aliens, Extinction Level Events, mass disasters, etc.) Then, when the world has gone to $hit, bring in someone that has the knowledge to fix it all and reign over Earth. Can you say anti-christ? I don't claim to know who it is, or when he will come. Just trying to think outside of the box. What if all this Elenin, Denver, elite going into hiding, is all a piece of the puzzle to the beginning of the thing that will unit everyone?

I should just take a few deep breaths, chill and continue writing. Who the # wants to stop writing the day the world ends ?

True. There is a lot to be said. I'm open to any thoughts at this point. Too much coincidences as have been said.

I am concerned about the crashing satellite. It seems to have come from no where.

i remember reading about WW3, something about it possibly being started by an "accident" of some sort. Maybe this was from Cayce predictions.

What if the "satellite" came crashing down on a foreign power, in turn thinking it was an attack...then.....BOOM.

I like your thinking and tend to agree with most of it...the bit about the Anti-Christ however has me confused. Can you please elaborate?
