Can you prove evolution wrong

It's beautiful.....BBC---Horizon has just shown an amazing time-lapse film of evolution in progress. I already understood the process, I knew what occurred...but I have just witnessed it and IT WAS BEAUTIFUL.

Its not hard for two illiterate people to get a thread closed. All you did was keep asking me to prove target food after it had clearly been proven in the OP and the thread.

No evidence to support this fantasy was ever supplied. Not one bit although an overwhelming amount of evidence against such a notion was provided.

It is really amazing how well evolution has stood the test of time. For over a century of intensive study and challenges have reinforced the mechanism by which evolution works.

I image that one of the local fundamentalist groups should be ordering a creationist lecturer fairly soon. Been a few years since the congregation had a tune up. Need to have someone come in and close their minds to the overwhelming evidence.

One of favorite challenges is the avoiding everyone dying due to ammonia poisoning in the ark problem. All of those animals and all of that poop. Can't stop pooping for 340 days. It's pretty funny when they pull out book on how to capture all of that ammonia. Imagine having that job. You think all day about all of the huge failures from no geological evidence to the mechanics of the ship and food distribution and water distribution and sanitation and you dream up gimmicks to trick the believers, i.e. to keep them in line.

It's a downright conspiracy.

Evolution doesn't suffer from "lack of evidence". It's not a "theory in chaos". It's the threat it poses to the warm-fuzzy feelings of small minded people that happens to contradict a dimwitted interpretation of a fantasy book that people are brainwashed from childhood into believing without question.

Thanks for that interesting article.

It is important for people to understand how science is not in lockstep. It is important to understand the difficulty in interpreting fossils. It is important for people to understand the means by which these scientific discussions are held.

The warm fuzzy feeling you talk about. I just don’t see that. What I see is plain old elitism and bigotry

They believe in gods that punish, exclude. Change from an angry vengeful god to a loving forgiving god, forgiving as long as you worship him blindly and go to war in his name of course and that is common to all the flavours of gods.

No I believe many people such as our 'friend' adopt this rubbish because it makes them feel superior and tells them they are, that is why the biggest insult to them is evolution shows we share a common ancestor with all primates and that is why they feel the outrage they show.

There are also many that have faith, can understand what evolution describes and how it adds to their belief not detracts.

Personally I have lived my whole life without the need for a god but also realise something kick started life on this planet but have accepted what that something is will not be discovered in my brief spell here.

What I do know is that everything that changes, evolves and that means everything in this universe and probably beyond. To deny it is just madness.

Explain the diversity we see around us today without referring to evolution. 500 pages and no takers, I think that say's it all.

The answer is to be found in unexamined assumptions.
Because something, like a mirage, appears, is no reason to automatically assume it's foundational 'Universal Reality'!

The unexamined premise upon which the theory of 'evolution' (AND 'creation/causality') hangs, is the appearance of (impossible) 'motion', and the theory of 'time' (what 'theory of time'?) to explain 'motion'. A fantasy to explain a mirage which is the sole foundational support (tremulous to the ultimate) for both 'evolution' and 'creation'.
And the reason that both (will) fail as Universal theories/Laws.

Proving evolution wrong is like proving flying pink elephants don't exist. Neither one has any proof of being true, in the first place.

Schoolchildren are taught about Darwin/evolution as if it's a fact, which is absurd.

Wrong there. Evolution has the most evidence for our current understanding of how we became human.

Wow, I can't believe this thread still exists! This thread pretty much shows exactly why creationism is so dishonest. Ah the classics. I'll probably read through this for old time's sake. Some of my favorite trolls are in here
