Something I see popping up in a few threads a lot, but doubly so for this one I think, is how most (note I have not said ALL) of the naysayers insist
everyone not agreeing with them is living in or obsessing on fear....
I suppose some peeps are, but over all I see people being curious, concerned, searching to find answers, and asking questions to the unknowns they see
in front of them.
How is that fear? I personally am not afraid, I am not sure if anything will happen of a great significance in the next couple weeks. I do think it
is possible, and in having this feeling I have taken steps to be prepared in case something does happen to affect my area.
I don't call that fear mongering or *living in fear* or obsessing. I call that smart.
I think most of us still went to work and dealt with daily life, I know I did...so what's with all this fear label? Is it intended to be an insult
as in name calling or what?
I just like to watch the race, the human race. I think the ones protesting the most and the loudest and the most derogatory reveal FAR more about
themselves than those they are dogging. Interesting what people reveal when they least expect they are
The older I get the more I realize life can be less mysterious and complex if we just remember the things our parents taught us. For instance, I grew
up hearing:
Just remember ANYTIME you point your finger and call someone a name or blame them for something...all three of your other fingers are pointing RIGHT
at YOU.
It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.
If Johnny jumped off a cliff would you jump off a cliff too?
If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all....
Manners and common sense......both are becoming a rare commodity
I wonder if this millennium will see the phrase *common sense* revamped because it certainly doesn't seem common at all anymore
For myself, I am as prepared as a person can be for an unknown *something* I am going to keep an eye on the sky and a few meters, go to work, eat,
sleep, probably do my laundry..... and watch my 6.
