You guys know how TPTB like to put symbols and hints in their logos, patches, etc... Take a close look at this one:
Mountains in the distance, Denver skyline in front, and the perspective seems to be from a little ways away... like DIA maybe? It's a good 10 miles East of Denver. If looking from DIA, Denver would look pretty similar to the logo.
Notice the buildings are all black? The mountains are blue? The sun is low in the sky behind the mountains in the West? Could this be symbolism that Denver is "Westing"? (aka dying?) Yet the sky is mid-day blue... Definitely an odd color scheme, if you ask me... why not highlight the city in proud, blazing colors?
I also like how the name of the operation is clearly printed below ground level... with the letters tightly packed in. Symbolic of the DIA Bunker?
Or it could be purely coincidental... Maybe the designer just liked the thought of dark Denver at night for some reason.
Ok, taking off my tin foil hat now.edit on 21-9-2011 by DamaSan because: (no reason given)

Emergency exercise. Of course there's no way it could be an...exercise.

If you have evidence to the contrary, feel free to present it.
The tapes catch them discussing strategy of an entirely domestic order:

O.K., a couch, an ottoman, a love seat, and what else … ? Was it on sale … ? Holy smokes! What color is it?
In the background, however, you can make out the sound of Jeremy Powell, then 31, a burly, amiable technical sergeant, fielding the phone call that will be the military's first notification that something is wrong. On the line is Boston Center, the civilian air-traffic-control facility that handles that region's high-flying airliners.
08:37:52
BOSTON CENTER: Hi. Boston Center T.M.U. [Traffic Management Unit], we have a problem here. We have a hijacked aircraft headed towards New York, and we need you guys to, we need someone to scramble some F-16s or something up there, help us out.
POWELL: Is this real-world or exercise?
BOSTON CENTER: No, this is not an exercise, not a test.
-
Powell's question—"Is this real-world or exercise?"—is heard nearly verbatim over and over on the tapes as troops funnel onto the ops floor and are briefed about the hijacking. Powell, like almost everyone in the room, first assumes the phone call is from the simulations team on hand to send "inputs"—simulated scenarios—into play for the day's training exercise.

WATSON: What?
DOOLEY: Whoa!
WATSON: What was that?
ROUNTREE: Is that real-world?
DOOLEY: Real-world hijack.
WATSON: Cool!

"When they told me there was a hijack, my first reaction was 'Somebody started the exercise early,'" Nasypany later told me. The day's exercise was designed to run a range of scenarios, including a "traditional" simulated hijack in which politically motivated perpetrators commandeer an aircraft, land on a Cuba-like island, and seek asylum. "I actually said out loud, 'The hijack's not supposed to be for another hour,'" Nasypany recalled. (The fact that there was an exercise planned for the same day as the attack factors into several conspiracy theories, though the 9/11 commission dismisses this as coincidence. After plodding through dozens of hours of recordings, so do I.)

FOX: I've never seen so much real-world stuff happen during an exercise.
08:44:59
FOX: M.C.C. [Mission Crew Commander], I don't know where I'm scrambling these guys to. I need a direction, a destination—
ABC News article:
"In the 1980s, bin Laden left his comfortable
Saudi home for Afghanistan to participate in the
Afghan jihad, or holy war, against the invading
forces of the Soviet Union - a cause that,
ironically, the United States funded, pouring
$3 billion into the Afghan resistance via the CIA."
Forbes business information service article:
"...[Osama bin Laden] received military and
financial assistance from the intelligence services
of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and the United States."
BBC news article:
"...Bin Laden left Saudi Arabia in 1979 to fight
against the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. The
Afghan jihad was backed with American dollars
and had the blessing of the governments of Saudi
Arabia and Pakistan. He received security
training from the CIA itself."

Government shutdown looms over FEMA fight
The US House of Representatives voted down a bill today that would fund the US Government until Nov 18, otherwise the Government isn't authorized to spend any money after Sep 30.
The fight is over how much additional disaster aid will be given to FEMA to pay for the storms that hit the East coast this year.
At issue is a short-term bill to fund government agencies through November 18 that the GOP-controlled House will vote on Wednesday. It allocates fewer resources to the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Army Corps of Engineers for disaster response than the Democratic-led Senate approved last week. Additional funds are needed because recent major floods from Hurricane Irene along the East Coast and wildfires in Texas exceeded the amount these agencies have left in their coffers to support recovery and rebuilding efforts.
Both the House and Senate are scheduled to take a weeklong recess next week and the current government funding expires September 30

So now we're going to have to listen to this fight 24/7 like we did over raising the debt limit.

I have talked to many friends here and none of them know about it. Nothing on the local news or radio stations mentioning it...It really does seem pretty hush hush if you ask me!
My cousin who works for one of the hospitals mentioned knows nothing of it!
Another friend who is both EMS in Denver and works in the ER at a hospital downtown know NOTHING of it!
I am starting to wonder if all of these agencies mentioned are really involved!
Does anyone else know anyone at any of these agencies they can ask?
Perhaps more so than other public service organizations, law enforcement agencies tend to operate in a very high profile environment. The news media plays an important role in satisfying the public’s interest in law enforcement activities by helping to inform the public about activities within their community. Having trained and experienced Public Information Officers gives the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office an edge in delivering accurate, coordinated information to the news media and its citizens, in a timely and efficient manner. Douglas County Sheriff’s Office PIO’s have received formal training at the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Emergency Management Institute in Emmitsburg, Maryland, and from the Colorado Division of Emergency Management (CDEM) in Colorado. Additional training also occurs through professional affiliations with organizations such as the Emergency Services Public Information Officers of Colorado (ESPIOC).

How many hints do they have to give us? My stomachs churning...really. Let's remember Obama's last speech....
Here is part of it....
though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.
Was his speech another hint?
