That Solar Storm Warning site has me worried. Its not selling anything, and its sources are solid on first pass. Thanks for sharing, and helping me lose sleep tonight.
Why not read the NASA page they are taking wildly out of context?
science.nasa.gov...
NASA says about the same thing. I watched the NASA press conference about CME's just recently. They might use milder words and a calm voice but they are saying the same thing. The calm voice must be because they have a space in the underground bunker.edit on 25-9-2011 by kwell because: (no reason given)
I'm saying that there were not "a lot" of military involved. The only military participants were members of the 84th Civil Support Team. And since their function is to assist civil authorities ("Civil Support") in case of a terrorist attack, it's pretty reasonable that they would be involved to assist with the exercise.

I wasn't there.
I'm going by the published list of participants. I operate on data, not speculation. I'm funny that way.

Data can be misleading. But at least it has a basis. And the data fits the situation.
Speculation can be pointless. Speculation can be downright wrong.

Science *begins* with speculative and imaginative leaps. But it is proven by rigorous testing and cold, hard data, the like of which is totally absent from this thread.

What then is your speculation about what actually occurred in Denver on Friday?
Do you have anything to base that speculation on other than a distrust of government (which, BTW, I also have).
"Well, they might have done something that no one knows about." That's not very helpful. What purpose does it serve?edit on 9/26/2011 by Phage because: (no reason given)

So, no purpose then.
Pointless speculation.
