Is Elenin Causing the Sun to pop CMEs ?! 9.21.2011 Solar Flare Update

Could it really be Elenin and all the hype surrounding the topic that's causing the sun to pop CMEs and Solar Flares? We have to remember however, that we are at the near peek of the 11 year solar cycle. You decide...

On Sept. 19th, the STEREO-SOHO fleet of spacecraft surrounding the sun detected six coronal mass ejections (CMEs). Two of the clouds rapidly dissipated. The remaining four, however, are still intact and billowing through the inner solar system.

According to analysts at the Goddard Space Weather Lab, who prepared the movie, one CME should hit Mercury on Sept. 20th at 05:40 UT while another delivers a glancing blow to Earth's magnetic field on Sept. 22th at 23:00 UT. All impact times have an uncertainty of plus or minus 7 hrs.

I thought the sun tends to eject CMEs?.. and I believe we are coming to the peak of a solar maximum?

Anything scientific to back the idea that Elenin could effect the sun?
I thought Elenin didn't survive?

Well THEY said the celestial has been gone for a few days so... But WE seem to have a good point here.

Bigger comets have hit the sun, causing little or no reaction.

Elenin was a very, very small object compared to our sun.

Considering Elenin is one billionth the size of earth and earth is 1.3 millionths the size of the sun, I think it would effect the sun as much as a spec of dust effects your home as it drifts by....really

As an experiment, throw a teeny weeny tiny itsy bitsy pebble near a huge massive gigantic explosive fire and see how much it effects it.....

The sun shifts its magnetic field and goes crazy each 11 years, and its seems that 2012 is the peak.
