Red lights over Brooklyn

I was taking a break from a reading assignment by spending some time watching the sky from my roof, when after maybe half an hour to forty-five minutes, my eyes caught sight of three fast moving objects. The one that got my attention was a solid white light, followed at a varying distance by two red lights.

The red lights did almost a full 360 degree circle around me, disappearing into low clouds to my east; the white light maybe doing 180 degrees before going in a linear direction. No sound from any of the objects, no air traffic at the time. I'd say one hour ago this happened (it is 5am Eastern right now).

The original light never came back [I'm assuming], but the pair of lights that were following it did, except one was white now while the other remained red. They seemed to be flying in unison, but it was very difficult for me to discern if they were maintaining constant distance or getting closer at some points. What I could tell without doubt, though, is that the white one got brighter and dimmer at least twice. In my opinion, they were flying fairly low. Not sure how low the clouds are tonite, but I would say they were at the current level of cloud height.

Either way, if they were moving that fast and cleared the sky, my first assumption was possibly fighter jets, but there was absolutely no roar associated with the engine of those type of craft. If anyone has ever had one near them, they know the distinct, audible roar I'm talking about.

Did anyone else see this? I didn't have any sort of camera on me. Like I said, I went to take a break. I've been seeing unidentified craft for close to ten years now; these certainly fit the bill. Merely reporting what I saw by making this thread, in hopes of someone else being awake and seeing the same sight.

I didn't have my phone on me, I went to my roof for a break. In fact, I got locked out of my apartment briefly when one of my room mates came home and locked the door behind her.

That video is exactly what I saw! I did not hear the sounds described in the second thread, though. If it's any consolation, I'm not a troll and I've been seeing UFOs for a good part of my life now. One of the first threads I ever made on here was sharing my thoughts and key experiences regarding this.

Glad I wasn't the only one awake and watching.

Okay, then regardless of being old footage, that can be used as a reference to what I witnessed. I'm not here to prove anything, so I don't know where you hostility is stemming from.

Nope somethings up in NY 3 of my friends who live in New York told me it was loud.

One lives at New Rochelle the other two live at North Bergen.

They sounded freaked out.

They tried to use their phone cams but got errors now this is odd.

I obviously could be mistaken regarding the sound, but I am certain of what my eyes saw. Your friends are some distance north of me across the water; quite possible these objects were closer to them? I spun around with the objects, though, and remain certain at the least two of them did almost a full circle around my area.

Looks that way and also i cant call them now getting no service message????

Whats going on?

To many calls being made is jamming the phones.

Fairly close to where I am, dreamfox. I'm right on the Hudson on the other side of Weschester (where New Rochelle is) and next to the North Bergen county line. Definitely things are amiss in the skies here tonight!! BTW, the sound just started again and I will try to see if I can get a recording on my cell phone (best I can do).

EDIT: Forget it for tonight. It loaded from my Blackberry as a REM file and I need to find a player to download to support the file. Too tired to do it tonight.
