Which race had the most influence in shaping our world? And please give some intelligent responses with history backing your opinion and dont just say "the white man" because that really describes nothing and makes you look like a bigot.

The Human Race.

End of thread, because clearly the only thing that will come out of this topic will be racism, trolling, and ignorance.

OP, you should be ashamed of yourself.

What race?
Aren't we all humans?

But i understand your question.
US,Britain,France and Russia.
If they didn't win in the WW2 who knows where we would be now...

The 400m hurdles.

Sorry, forgot the intelligence!

The 400m hurdles requires the athlete to run as fast as they can, as well keeping good paces to allow for smooth transition of the hurdle. Running as fast as you can, and jumping. Surely it must have shaped human ability more than any other race.

Depends how far back in time you want to go.
In recent history its undoubtedly the "white" race, but if you go back a few hundred thousand years the answer is different.

The human race...

The lives some men lead (elite)...would NOT be possible...if others did not lead those lives(non-elite).

you see, its not about "race" anymore than it is about "culture" and its not about "culture" anymore than it is about "your place in the pyarmid" and its not about "your place in the pyramid" anymore than its about "your place in the human race"...as far as I am aware race between humans is distrinctly a "cultural" manifestation that makes us perceive ourselves as "different" when we really all are the same...

If we take the whole world into consideration...and how "the whole world is today" it might not be what you think it is...

The pinnacle of human kind is a representation of the life that has been sucked out of the world and focused to a point...

The Chinese: not only are they the most numerous "race" (ethnic differences notwithstanding the bigger argument, they have little time for that, which is part of their collective strength), and they've absorbed the technology and lessons of others.
They have little time for political correctness, and have a "can do" attitude to work, study and productivity.
They don't give a stuff about exploiting the "third world", nor do they have any historical guilt dragging them down.

The Western radical left has given such ultra-capitalists free reign in poorer nations, because we all sit and cry about "US hegemony", while the true despots in the world (who don't give a stuff about human rights or the environment) have formed alliances with all former liberationists and socialist governments.

I don't understand. Are you discouraging participants to exclude the white race?

Are you a pollster in real life? Do you work for the Democrat Party?

Fine, the whites did everything. We know this, do you have to make everybody who isn't white feel like pond scum ? Some of us have feelings you know, it's not my fault that I'm not white.

Depends on what kind of influence you are talking about. If you are talking about peanut butter, lawn mowers, and air conditioners then you could say that a black man influenced the world the most.

2nd.

Depends on your definition of race. But obviously in the past few centuries Europeans - of various skin, hair and eye colour (as well as religion) - have probably had the most overall influence.

But that has no bearing on their race and it's notable than in recent decades those of African, Asia and American origin have rapidly 'caught up'.

In the past few decades the answer would be that all races have had equal influence.

Maybe the real question is: which group of people still have an bizarre illogical issue with colour of skin/hair/eyes etc. And why? Humans are humans. Just as dogs are dogs. Except, unlike dogs, we all look the same.

Edit: of course the correct answer is: the British
Though since the British have varying skin, hair and eye colours and originate from all corners of the Earth, I guess we don't count as a race?

I'd have to give the edge to the Caucasians. The Mongolian race would be second. Negroid would be dead last.

I'm black, and when I look at Africa it's a real disappointment. Beavers have evolved better building techniques!

Now, you can't give credit to one particular race of people, as every race has had individuals shape the planet for the better, and every race has had people who were evil, and did nothing but bad. I think the sooner everyone gets past race as an issue, the sooner the human race can flourish. This goes for people like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, who are the KKK of the black race.

Oh well look what we have here. "Negroes"? Have you ever read a damn ancient world history book before? You're not black, you're a kkk grandmaster trying to stir some **** up and put blacks down
