Hi Misoir
Gotta love-hate that crooked Dianne Emilie [Goldman] Feinstein…. …not by chance the 9th wealthiest member of the US Senate…!
Apparently it was a plain ordinary reporter just routinely doing his job by asking the right questions (for a change) that caused Ms Dianne Feinstein
finally to fess up & resign from her cushy job on the Military Construction Appropriations [MILCON] sub-Committee.
Feinstein had been Chairperson & ranking member of MILCON for 6 LONG years, during which time she had MANY conflicts of interest due to her husband
Richard C. Blum's ownership of two major defense contractors, who were awarded billions of dollars for military construction projects approved by
Feinstein. But the reporters never asked any questions...
As MILCON leader, Feinstein relished the details of military construction, even micromanaging one project at the level of its sewer design – a
highly appropriate place to put all of her attention !
From 1997 through the end of 2005, Feinstein’s husband Richard C. Blum was a majority shareholder in both URS Corp. and Perini Corp. She lobbied
Pentagon officials in public hearings to support defense projects that she favored, some of which already were, or subsequently became, URS or Perini
contracts.
From 2001 to 2005, URS earned $792 million from military construction and environmental cleanup projects approved by MILCON; Perini earned $759
million from such projects. In 2000, Perini earned a mere $7 million from federal contracts.
After 9/11, Perini was transformed into a major defense contractor. In 2004, the company earned $444 million for military construction work in Iraq
and Afghanistan, as well as for improving airfields for the US Air Force in Europe & building base infrastructures for the US Navy worldwide. In a
remarkable financial recovery, Perini shot from near bankruptcy in 1997 to bilking gross revenues of $1.7 billion in 2005.
It is estimated that Perini now holds at least $2.5 billion worth of contracts tied to the worldwide expansion of the US military. Its largest
Department of Defense contracts are “indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity” or “bundled” contracts carrying guaranteed profit marginsAs of
June 2006 Perini held bundled contracts awarded by the Army Corps of Engineers for work in the Middle East valued at USD $1.725 billion.
She regularly took junkets at taxpayer expense to military bases around the world to inspect construction projects, some of which were contracted to
her husband's companies, Perini Corp. and URS Corp.
Turns out that Blum also holds large investments in companies that were selling medical equipment and supplies and real estate leases—often without
the benefit of competitive bidding—to the Department of Veterans Affairs, even as the system of medical care for veterans collapsed on his wife's
watch.
As of December 2006, according to SEC filings and www.fedspending.org, three corporations in which Blum's financial entities own a total of $1
billion in stock won considerable favor from the budgets of the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs:
• Boston Scientific Corporation: $17.8 million for medical equipment and supplies; 85 percent of contracts awarded without benefit of competition.
• Kinetic Concepts Inc.: $12 million, medical equipment and supplies; 28 percent noncompetitively awarded.
• CB Richard Ellis: The Blum-controlled international real estate firm holds congressionally funded contracts to lease office space to the
Department of Veterans Affairs. It also is involved in redeveloping military bases turned over to the private sector.
You would think that, considering all the money Feinstein's family has stolen from US taxpayers by her vile engouragement of supporting so many
prrrrrrrofitable worldwide warfare weapons schemes while ignoring the plight of wounded American soldiers, she would show some shame and resign from
the entire Senate, not just a Subcommittee.
Ms Feistein should have been booted out years ago from the US Government not the least because of her p ersonal mega-profiting on the horrors and
sufferings of American soldiers fighting all those needless wars for Israel’s ‘protection in the region…’
Maybe the Knesset in Tel-Aviv will hold a nice cushy job for her – after all, she speaks their language of ‘milking the blood of the goyim’,
Isaiah 60:16) especially after 9-11 oh so very very well !
