This whole thing is just embarrassing. These guys are revolutionary "noobs". This looks like normal rush hour sidewalks on Wall St. to me... I'd like to see one of these fatty McDoubleCheezbeurger cops chase someone already. Exercise is important to this country; certainly more important than smiling on a sidewalk pretending its scaring someone.

Not all of us believe "fixing" the outside is the way to solve anything. We've had revolts, rebellions, revolutions, uprisings, etc for thousands of years. Yet here we are... still doing it, and I'm not sure it could be argued I am more "free" now than any of my ancestors. Today there isn't even anywhere to "escape".

Some have adopted the mindset that working on the self... within our immediate bubble... is the most important and vital thing we could do. Whatever circumstance we are in, it could always get worse and without someone trying to make it worse for us. So instead I focus on ensuring that I am making the one place nobody else can touch a good place to be, and that's in my head.

That is where we get real freedom. And if everyone spent more time exploring the problems in their own minds and local relationships, the global system wouldn't have any legs to stand on. It *depends* upon either handing over our well being to someone else or fighting someone else if we aren't happy. Either way, it revolves entirely around a blaming someone else mindset.

If you truly believe the people in the middle east revolutions will have gotten any form of sustainable "freedom" out of their fighting, then that would be a first. They are just trading one form of dependence/blame on someone else for another.

2nd that buddy. I have a hard time believing what I am seeing. Is this what is left of a once proud nation?
