I did a search and found a couple posts but they all had crap sources so i decided to make one for anyone who is coming tomorrow so they can find the info they need.

If you don't know what I am talking about:

On 13 Jul 2011, the group Adbusters released this call: Occupy Wall Street! In Solidarity, and as a response to this call, a planning group was formed [occupywallst.org], and an info sharing site established. The participation of every person, and every organization, that has an interest in returning the US back into the hands of it's individual citizens is required. Our nation, our species and our world are in crisis. The US has an important role to play in the solution, but we can no longer afford to let corporate greed and corrupt politics set the policies if our nation. We, the people of the United States of America, considering the crisis at hand, now reassert our sovereign control of our land. Solidarity Forever!

This has gained huge support and i think will be the start of the change us 99% have been waiting for. The media has been trying to keep it down but it has become too big.

Sept. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Wall Street firms will be the target of a nonviolent demonstration in which organizers say they want 20,000 people to participate with tents, kitchens and “peaceful barricades.” Dubbed “#OccupyWallStreet,” the goal of the protest in lower Manhattan is to get President Barack Obama to establish a commission to end “the influence money has over our representatives in Washington,” according to the website of Adbusters, a group promoting the demonstration. Organiszers plan to start on Sept. 17 and want participants to “occupy” the area for “a few months,” according to the website.

It will be interesting to see how the Police, and MSM deal with this. After all, is this not similar to the original "protests" in Egypt/Libya/Syria. Will the headlines be "protesters attacked by government troops in brutal crack down" as mentioned in the above countries. Or will it be along the lines of "domestic anti government groups linked to violent militias occupied Wall street" the article would go on to "prove" links to mentally unstable characters involved in such things as the Arizona shooting...etc. along with justifications on using excessive force to break the "freedom fighters" tent city.

One has to be real 'tough' to go to a protest on Wall Street on a Saturday, when it's closed - ha-ha, lol. Maybe it will rain so everyone will finally get a bath.
I thought that the yippie-dippy-hippie era was over: long hair, beards, crazy wool hats, bongos and bad, buzzed singing. Just another group of low-lifes blaming their mis-fortunes on others.

Obama!

Hell! He's not the solution. He's one of the biggest problems.
Do you know how many people on Wall Street contributed to his election? How many of them attend his fundraisers? Do you know what is going on with Solyndra? Lightsquared? Evergreen Solar Inc.?

Thank you. Best laugh I have had in a long time. Now I have to wipe the coffee off of my monitor.

Typical lazy atser. never read the links? It's planned for at least a month, "bring tents." but now that being said, let me dive into your recent posts and see if you ever complained about the conditions of the economy.

haha yeah it makes alot of sense now.

If you read the link you would find that this isn't a day event.
In fact a Saturday would be the best time to set up a prolonged protest as it would be less busy, giving more space to set up/organize.

At least these people are trying to get the word out to the general public.......

money.cnn.com...

S&F. Good catch. I think people are expecting it to all go out with a bang, and it may well be with a whisper.

Too much doom and gloomers when all along it could be something so simple.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is worried that high U.S. unemployment could lead to the same kind of riots here that have swept through Europe and North Africa.

"You have a lot of kids graduating college, [who] can't find jobs," said Bloomberg, during his weekly radio show on Friday. "That's what happened in Cairo. That's what happened in Madrid. You don't want those kinds of riots here."

(snip)

"The public is not happy," he said. "The public knows there is something wrong in this country, and there is. The bottom line is that they're upset."

He knows whats up. He knows whats coming.

Just a little tid bit to add to the thoughts of those reading this seriously. Perhaps the time has come and the camel is about to traverse the needles' eye.
