Hi I'm Chris. A Technology Guy

Greetings, I'm Chris.

I've been meaning to join this site for a long time and finally got around to it, a friend of mine recommended it, and when I was laid off, I suddenly had more free time for personal interest.

I'm a Technology guy, I like building things. Mostly related to security. I do a lot of web work, and have my own rack of servers in colo, just an example of how tech(y) I am. I buy a lot of army surplus items too.

I'm mostly interested in government hacks, coverups, NASA documents and the such. My goal is to get to know the community so that I can understand it enough to contribute in a positive technology related way. Like tools to do this and that.

I live in Washington, where its always wet, the people are moody but the food is pretty good.

Yea, Seriously. I updated mine to a url.. like is asked, then got a warning that It had to be hosted through the media center, and then that didnt work.

Must be down for the night?

I get your point. I'll clarify "colo" = Co Location. I'll try to keep the lingo to a minimum. I may be robotic, but strictly of my own design!

Welcome aboard Chris - the site is great there is such a diverse range if topics...

The "flags" are awarded by members for what they thing is a great thread - and you can also stars for individual posts.
The point being the more flags/stars your thread gets - the longer it will appear on the main pages and the more input you will receive.
Have fun - I try to remain courteous but there are times that gets hard - but predominantly the people on here are reasonable and the debates are really enlightening
