It helps Ron Paul. I'm afraid of Palin stealing votes from him if/when she enters the race. This definitely helps.

As for Palin, this is the type of crap which proves how completely and utterly corrupt everything surrounding the race for the next president is. The tone was a little accusatory. I understand the statement though.

My point was that the same people slamming Palin cried when the "Honorable" Ted Kenedy died. We can all agree that murder or negligent manslaughter is a bad thing. Yet nobody mentions it when talking about Ted Kenedy.

They engage in attack politics to distract the people. They don't care about her life style or exposing her hypocrisy. They are trying to destroy someone they disagree with. They are trying to destroy someone that has a different view and a shot at power. The conservatives are just as guilty. Read the book Blinded By The Right. Then realize the sword cuts both ways.

All of this is just mush mouth pseudo-contrevorsy to take power away from an opposing person/view. They are not debating facts to change minds. They are throwing trash in hopes that they can rally their base and stiffle the other person's base. If you make one Republican not vote for Palin it is the same as getting one Democrat to vote for her opposition. So, why debate openly and fairly when it is easier to malign and destroy?

No she embraces it. She has been the driving force behind it in everything she has ever done. From the way she talks, the her t.v. show. It's not even worth arguing for you.

Now as for the guy, no if I was in Palin's shoes I would probably expect it. This man has a ton of integrity (more than she will ever know, actually more than her entire family combined will ever know) you can see my above post if you want. His moving in next door was the result of him taking up an opportunity after someone offered him the place. There was nothing controversial about it. The people probably offered, because it doesn't hurt your homes value to say a New York Times best selling author wrote a book there.

What she does isn't the point, it's the dishonest persona she puts on. If she did this stuff and was a brilliant politician it would be different, but this phony super mom/pious politician persona she puts on is really the only reason people like her. Her personal reputation is all she has. That's why it's important.

This is why I try to focus on the issues of a candidate or a politician.
You get cries of racism when criticizing Obama.
You have the progressive left in glee over alligations of things when done by a conservative.
Sure, I've made my fair share of Anthony Weiner jokes, but if this is the best anyone can do, then it should be a good day for Palin. While focusing on who she slept with in college, it is clear that her policies (while in clear contrast to Obamas') are what would be needed.

The timing of the incident makes it important. What happened before she began attending church, "got saved," and changed her moral compass is unimportant. If anyone can prove these things continued to happen on a regular basis after she became "saved" then it is important in judging the validity of her "persona."

Otherwise the mistakes I made at eighteen should be used to judge me now. I would hate for my character then to be the basis for people's view of me now. That is even more true if they have no basis to believe I continue in such actions.

You didn't do what I asked, you posted a video where he talked to Matt Lauer and made absolute and complete sense.
