So let me get this straight, Sarah Palin has a freaky-deaky side and has gotten dirty with coc aine before??? Hmmmm.... We have definitely had former Presidents who were freaks (Clinton for starters comes to mind) and we have definitely had Presidents who have done coc aine before, Bush comes to mind there.... I think it's safe to say that Palin would be a perfect President for this country, she obviously meets all the necessary requirements.....

And to think...liberals were judging her for not aborting her Down Syndrome baby. I really wonder about people's priorities sometimes.

Please show me where "liberals" were judging her for not aborting her baby - and when you do, just an fyi, I am right now compiling some fairly sad and incriminating statements from "neo-cons" who said what you claimed ONLY liberals said - I'll patiently await your sources for such a absurd claim.

Is this "news" surprising anyone?

Those who preach the loudest against "sexual sins" are pretty much always engaging in them and just putting up a stance against it as a diversion.

For what it's worth, I want to know why "the" left, who appear to hate, loathe, dislike, etc, etc of Palin keep going after her? Why? Why do you do this? If you are so more mature and intelligent, then why not let her waste away by the wayside? I don't care eitehr way, but it just seemed ironic to me.

As for the "affairs"...I believe this book is written by the same kook that moved in next door to the Palins so he could watch them to write said book...yep. Right. Annnnyhoooow. So...why does it matter if she had an affair, years ago?

Who. The. Heck. Cares.

Everyone makes really dumb mistakes in their lives...I bet there are more than a few people on ATS who have done some dumb crap, but would you want someone to drag it up and rub it in your face when you've moved past it? This kind of crap isn't even news worthy. (Sorry OP, not trying to be mean =/)

Honestly, none of this really should make any difference anyway. Any American who thinks it would be a good idea to vote for this ignorant excuse for a politician is just stealing oxygen anyway, and unfortunately I'm always more and more surprised by the number of people who back this twit. She couldn't manage a Wal-mart let alone the Unites States of America. It's because of JOKES like this that the rest of the world keeps losing more and more respect for us. We are supposed to be a great country yet we can't even nominate competent people to lead us. MAKES ME SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never thought this would even be possible to say, but she makes Bush look intelligent.

If she puts in her name for the nomination, does it become news worthy?

Off the top of my head, here's a blog that shows it was in the media, though it seems some libs are denying it, but I know I heard discussion of it in the media back then. It was a huge ruckus with people condemning her for flying on the plane preggie and all sorts of things. It is so easy to see the liberal agenda. There's a comment on this page that shows the mindset of liberals on it. The comment suggests that she should have aborted and not kept the baby because, as the commenter puts it, it is not humane to bring a Down Syndrome baby into the world to suffer needlessly(that is the liberal mindset and that is what I was perceiving at the time, so while maybe no one expressly said she should abort, they made it clear they think that Down Syndrome babies should not be brought into this world if one has the "data" as this commenter puts it.
This commenter even puts Palin's baby in the same categor as Terri Schiavo, which shows more demented thinking and a tendency to want to kill off all undesirables.
www.washingtonmonthly.com...

Especially in this case with Sarah Palin to totally ignore data developed in medicine that placed her self in a condition to make a personal decision to proceed with Downs’s syndrome baby is very personal. Very, but why would one want to see one’s sole suffer in real life. Sarah is something of the order in the same situation as Terry Shivo, here, it can reveal a person who is governor is making personal decisions for the “HER” community. The way she talks is her State, her Alaska. As if she owns it and everyone’s ability to make decisions? Sarah Palin has been acclimated to understand how to be the decider. She fits right in to Bush and Companies mold.

"The liberal media attacked Sarah Palin because she did not abort her Down syndrome baby," Barone said, according to accounts by attendees. "They wanted her to kill that child. ... I'm talking about my media colleagues with whom I've worked for 35 years."

Evidence that some people, most likely liberal, believe that some people don't deserve to live because of some difference in ideology. Sounds just like those Gore climate change supporters who expect all the other parasites to be dead first.

You have no clear evidence she cannot run Wal-Mart or her state. You have only the hatred of the mass media. She ran Alaska just fine till a bunch of activists decided to run her out.

Yeah - Clinton was impeached - remind me again, what came of it? Did he QUIT like a baby? No, he remained President. Quitters, like Sarah Palin, deserve nothing other than the moniker of "LOSER".

But feel free to call her Governor - I'll stick with a crybaby who quit when the heat was up.

Ummmm no, she did what she thought was best for her family and for the state, as people had to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to deal with the complaints.

In fact here's something from an article

Palin offered few clues about her ambitions but said she arrived at her decision in part to protect her family, which has faced withering criticism and occasional mockery, and to escape ethics probes that have drained her family's finances and hampered her ability to govern. She said leaving office is in the best interest of the state and will allow her to more effectively advocate for issues of importance to her, including energy independence and national security.

www.washingtonpost.com...

What would you have done if your family was exposed to financial ruin? I bet you would have run screaming. It's easy to say what others should do in such circumstances.

This is utterly ridiculous outcast, the daily mail is a tabloid newspaper for goodness sakes, and I don't like Palin one bit. There is nothing of subtance in this article. The author just makes a claim out of thin air and that's it. Seriously, you of all people should know better considering your participation in birther threads.

Even if it were true, this is something that happened more than 20 years ago.

If he doesn't come out outraged....then that to me suggest there is some truth to it.

Is one suppose to respond to ridiculous claims in outrage all the time? Some people take the high road when it comes to false smears, they do this by responding a mature manner, not one necessarly of outrage. Why did you post somehthing from a tabloid newspaper? You might as well have gone to a gossip blog

Really? In my case I would do what I said I would do. You know, the integrity thing. I guess that doesn't mean much when she is your gal - do whatever you like! Yeah, if she was a REAL WOMAN she would have stuck it out...she quit. Make up excuses all day but she couldn't handle the heat - that's it.

No, it's proof it was in the media as such. And also the proof that people expected her not to keep the baby is in the comments section. That comment may not have come from a liberal, but it sure didn't come from a Pro-Lifer.

So leaving your family to financial ruin for the sake of a political office is what you would call moral integrity? I fear for your family.

The "Liberal Media" did nothing of the sort.

Prove your claim...go find a news article from the "Liberal Media" that told Palin to abort her baby. A comment on a blog isn't exactly a valid news source

Whats the big deal here? She slept with a guy before she was married oh no so has 99.9 percent of the US population. Or is it the fact that she had an affair oh no that makes her like 99.9 percent of politicians or the fact that she snorted some blow off a 55 gallon drum PFFFTTT i think they are upset because it wasn't off a strippers hindquarter like 99.9 percent of the politicians. Don't for one second think i am a Palin supporter im just saying maybe these politicians shouldn't be calling the kettle black

and on a note i would still nail that!!!

Ok so are you backing away from your claim? The only piece you posted is the EXACT OPPOSITE of what you said....my goodness.

But this tasteless, classless attack on Barone's own colleagues is surprisingly vicious, even for a conservative ideologue.

From YOUR article. Am I taking crazy pills here?
