The heartbreak of dogs......Are they worth it?

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for the condolences and for sharing your stories. I know it helps me to be able to talk about it.

Thanks for sharing the pictures too! You all have beautiful dogs! Wish I was computer savvy enough to put my boys on here.

To Curious7: Did you know that if you have a cut, it will heal faster if a dog licks it? Can't be that dirty!
Learned that from a dog trainer.

Thats funny I always heard that as well, and I only seem to get cuts from my puppy Kiley. no matter how many times I cut her claws they are little devil claws and she draws blood every time, but she always licks it! LOL. I just love my dogs. I love my boyfriends cat just as much as all my dogs, but I don't think I would ever get my own cat. They don't play rough with me like my dogs do!
