The total destruction of Israel, something used by the Zionist lobby to bilk the US out of billions for years, is no longer a dream, it is inevitable. The only question is "when?" With it a limited world war may emerge with some surprises in store. It all started long ago but we can focus back one year when Israel murdered 9 Turkish citizens in an act of piracy, peace activists on an aid ship heading for Gaza. Aid ships heading for Gaza now get a military escort from the Turkish Navy and Turkey's president is heading for Gaza and Egypt now, to slap Israel down.

A year ago, Israel and Turkey were best of friends. Their spy agencies in the US shared nuclear secrets, sold them to China, North Korea, Pakistan, Brazil, worked as partners blackmailing half of Washington's army of corrupt officials and traitorous military officers. Patriotism in Washington is rare nowadays, considered stupid. Washington is all about "globalism" and "no borders," about corporations, not "America." To most in Washington, America is a joke, a bankrupt "has been" nation drowning in debt with a military now useless, spread across the globe running errands for a cabal of international bankers.

Until a week ago, the Turkish Army believed it had control of Turkey, despite the elected government. Israel believed the same. They were wrong. A year ago, Israel believed Turkey would always be controlled because of their desire to join the European Union. Now that dream is considered hopeless. Who would want to join anyway, the EU is broke, falling apart and toothless. Turkey, instead, is an economic powerhouse, outdistancing all but Germany in technology, productivity and science.

I had to share this as it is a brilliant article that deals with the problems the US has caused throughout the world.

At this point although the US army is unmatched in strength they are spread throughout the world and stretched so thin that it would be hard for them to make a huge difference in a conflict like this. They have too many wars already to worry about and still have plenty of soldiers in countries where the wars have stopped more than a half a century ago.

On top of the US military being spread so thin they are on the verge of economic collapse. They are unable to fund any more new wars, and are having trouble funding the ones already in existence. To me the pieces are in place, and it is not a matter of if anymore, but when.

Any thoughts?

I completely agree, it is not a matter of 'if' but 'when'.
However, the destruction of Israel would be good news as they are one of the most dangerous countries on earth.
The U.S is already losing considerable control in the Asian and Pacific regions. I can tell as I live in Australia and already we can see China vastly building up its military.
Tensions in the South-China sea are also rising with Vietnam, Phillipines, Malaysia, and others laying claim to it while at the same time the U.S now claims it is in their national interest to 'control' the South-China sea.

Our own Australian government have recently announced our military bases will be relocated from the south of the country to the north and north-west as well as purchasing new fighter planes, several naval warships, and a new fleet of sub-marines are being built in South Australia.
Are they preparing for the inevitable?

As you noted in your OP,the US Military are spread quite thinly on the ground these days with the prospect of even further deployment to countries such as Syria.

What would worry me,would be Irans intentions in this region, now I am certainly not trying to paint Iran as the bad guy here,Israel has done a pretty good job in putting itself in this role, however,Iran has been surprisingly restrained in the face of, sometimes, pretty intense provocation from both Israel and the West,if they are waiting to see what happens regarding the US military presence in multiple theatres of operation, and I don't believe they would start anything without being sure that they were in a position of relative strength, then conflict with Israel may well be inevitable.

However, the US still have an extremely powerful Air Force which would be more than capable of causing substantial damage to Irans infrastructure, the question is,will Iran take a chance?

Is veterans today a credibile source?

This article seems more like an opinion piece than fact, I think the title is a tad misleading and purely sensationalizing it.

I dont think Nuclear war in the middle east is inevitable, sure Israel`s leaders are crazy, warmongering idiots, but I dont think they are that stupid.

Once they use Nuclear weapons it would be the end of them, no middle eastern country is going to sit by idly while Israel launches nukes, they would either face a retaliatory nuclear strike or a conventional war and I dont think they can survive either.

As far as Turkey using nukes, I think that is ven more unlikely, Firstly as far as I understand the only nukes they have belong to the US, I could be wrong not very knowleadgable on that, and I doubt that the US would allow them to use their nukes to take out Israel.

So in closing I really dont think nuclear war is inevitable and day by day it seems that even a conventional war is unlikely, as both parties are toning down the war rhetoric. Lieberman has said that he didnt propose to arm the Kurdish rebels and it doesnt seem that Erdogan will visit Gaza.

I think it was just posturing on both sides to save face.

S/F because I really believe this is true...while hoping it'll be proven wrong somehow at the last moment. However, having clicked on this right before heading to bed..oh how I wish I'd missed this particular story now.
Good thread though. The MSM still seems so hung up on things like the debates or what Obama is doing today, they don't seem to even notice the fact the world could see a regional war within a couple weeks.

Iran have a Jewish population of up to 20,000 people who seem to be living happily.

I think the picture painted by the MSM regarding Iran is much like the picture painted about Libya. Lies.

The last Defence White Paper clearly stated that the massive increase in Australia's Military capability and infratsructure was due to the US's declining influence in the region and China's rising influence/power.....

this isnt hidden.

Beleive me, Australia has alot of weaponary at their disposal in a SHTF scenario to take care of its own...atleast for a while...we may not have the worlds largest defence force but what we do have is well equipped and trained.

Our geographic location protects us immensly, but I would hate to think of what a modern day Chinese Military Force with the motivations of the Japanese one of WW2 could do and/or achieve against Australia in a future conflict.

I've believed for sometime now, the reason there are so many prominent Jewish people in America is because of this. They know war is inevitable so in order to fund it why not take if from America in small portions, small as in a few million here and there. From movie productions to White House staff, isn't there some sort of "rule" for lack of a better term that if Israel goes to war other Israelies must go back to their homecountry to fight? I heard that somewhere but never knew if it was true.

I have a thought: That "brilliant" article is based in fantasy; the writer even said the destruction of Israel was his dream. I'd like to introduce him, and you, to reality; the Samson Option.

Apparently I've been lowballing Israel's nuclear weapons capability for quite a while. I've been under the impression that they only had 200+ nuclear weapons. It turns out, after I read some of the source papers for the Wiki entry, that they have between 600 and 800 nuclear weapons - and the platforms to deliver them as far as Moscow - AND they have a second strike capability on board SLBM-armed submarines in the Med and Red Seas.

If the Israelis feel their existence is threatened, they WILL turn the entire Middle East into a raging inferno as a final "F YOU" to those who have salivated for their destruction for 60 years. All of you Israel haters constantly say how evil and murderous the Israelis are; do you doubt what I have said?

All I got to say is if you live near Washington D.C. its time to start packing up and moving elsewhere. You don't want to be near Washington when all this goes down.

I wouldn't exactly describe this article as "brilliant." Provocative, definitely. But if it were brilliant it would be discussing how to stop this madness.

This piece is from Gordon Duff, Senior Editor of Veterans Today.

He poses as a Christian moralist. And it is possible that he is being honest about that.

But his analysis goes only as far as Israel and stops there. He doesn't make the Zionist connection to Europe in this article, though he has mentioned it in other writings. So, he is saying, basically, that the Zionism experiment didn't work and will be "nuked" so to speak. But he's not actually saying that. He's saying that Zionism's time in Israel has run out. So he's either confused (in my view) or hiding something.

Well, this probably won't happen tomorrow. On the other hand, you never know.

I think any confrontation between US/NATO/Israel and Iran is a moot for at least another 3-5 years, then anything can happen in the time in Iran.....an all out Revolution perhaps?

Keep in mind, any nuclear confrontation will deem most of the Middle East as unliveable for 100's of years.

I agree with your statement, although I don't really think Australia has that many weapons but there is no doubt a new "Cold War" if you like is brewing in the wider Asian/Pacific region.
But like I said before, now that America is in steady decline and struggles to pay its bills if we get into trouble with China we won't have anyone other than New Zealand to truly rely on.
America is already fighting I think 4 or 5 wars (not sure), the UK and the EU is facing riots and debt problems, and our own country is being driven into the ground with an incompetent government who refuses to give up power.

Also, with your comment on a 'modern' Chinese army, I was talking to one of my lecturers who lived in Taiwan for most of his life before moving to Australia. He used to work in Taiwan as a Lieutenant for the army there.
When I asked him about the rise of China, he could only laugh saying the Chinese although large in number have a rubbish army who are poorly trained compared to Australia.

Turkey and Israel have been in a pretty heated situation recently. Heres a few recent developments in Turkey and Israel

Turkey Says Israel's Flotilla Raid Was 'Cause for War'

ANKARA, Turkey – Turkey's prime minister said Monday that Israel's raid on a Gaza-bound aid flotilla last year was "cause for war" but added that his country showed "patience" and refrained from taking any action.

The new Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) -- an identification system designed for command and control -- developed by Turkey's Military Electronics Industry (ASELSAN) will replace the US version of the system that was being run on the fighter jets so far, Turkey's Star Gazete newspaper reported on Tuesday.

The US system identified all Israeli targets as a 'friend,' thus preventing the Turkish fighter jets from firing at them automatically, even if the Turkish pilots were ordered to fire at them, the report said.

The new system, however, will allow Turkey to define its enemies itself, the report said.

On Sunday, the Israeli cabinet approved a plan, known as the Prawer, which recommends uprooting some 30,000 Palestinian Bedouins from the Naqab desert and relocating them to nearby Arab towns and villages. The plan also puts 20 villages under the threat of demolition.

“This is by far the most dangerous phase Palestinians have faced since 1948. More than 140,000 acres have been confiscated by Israel. This is not just about Israel's racist policies. It is a war against our very existence,” said Hanin Zoubil, another Arab Knesset member.

Well I think that one statement gives justification for "All of you Israel haters constantly say how evil and murderous the Israelis are"

If Israel goes then everyone goes, friend and foe alike..

What a great bunch of people..

Only this time Australia will have no real backing. America is in deep # and UK and EU are no better if not worse. If China chooses to invade Australia we might not win without real support.

yeah
but if we are smart we would team up with china, because i cant see the us and uk having much hope..we all know that if one country takes the lead and starts war with them there will be a long list of countries behind them.
australians are respected more so id like to think we have a chance
