Hi all, I like to read the topics of this site here and there, I found out about this site awhile back listening to c2c am
I am a hobbyist CB radio operator with a small collection of cb transceivers and multiband receivers including the uniden bc898t trunktracker 3.

I have the power to roll some gates, just gotta get my big cb antenna up
anyways, if anyone has good secret government and military radio frequencies for me, i can scan them in possibly, its not top of the line anymore, but its still a very good police scanner

I'd like to become a good helpful part of info gathering of this community
and with my radios, it should be possible.

Hi. Welcome to ATS.

If you come up with anything interesting on one of your radios, please do share it. Be forewarned, though, that anything you bring in will be subject to microscopic scrutiny.

That said, have fun and enjoy the site.

thanks for the welcome n3k.

yea, im doing my covert rf scanning here and there, but i got a cable tv rf leak somewhere, so every 5-10 MHz i run into the video and uadio output signals and gotta lock them out, and searchin for good trustable frequencies by google if thats possible, lol.

im ready for that scrutiny, i know its needed in todays world, gotta be careful. i'll have plenty of fun

CB isn't the same as HAM is it?

Welcome by the way.

nope, ham radio is different, using FM, CW, and sometimes am (for hf simplex), ham's rely on repeaters for their range. cb's dont use them. the cb's can transmit far with a good antenna, and with the right skip conditions, you can transmit world wide.

thanks for the welcome
