PG POLICE: On lookout 2 Stolen Econoline U-Haul Vans

Hi this is my first post I checked and saw no one posted yet so hope this is in the right spot if not a mod can move. So was just on facebook and I h ave WUSA9 News (DC) liked so I get news alerts and what not this just broke:

PG Police on lookout for 2 Econoline U-Haul Vans stolen last nite from 2 different U-Haul locations in Temple Hills MD... This is a hop and a skip from DC... Could this be a decoy for 9/11 anniversary or somthin more? Or just a normal heist?

Truck plates: AZ - AE15192, AE10897 hmmm both AZ Tags... From diff lots same area.. what ate the chances that would happen.. I know the vans go from here n there ud think one would be from somewhere else unless it is a decoy also.. I dunno just my thoughts... Hope they track down these vehicles.

I dont know how much trust I would have on them. They say on there website that there is no Sign Of US Entry For Terror Plot.

Tomorrow is going to be intense. I just pray that there is a real-life Jack Bauer that's going to be able to pull a miracle out of his butt at the last minute and stop these animals. If there is another Muslim attack on the United States, the people will call for blood, giving the government carte blanche to attack whomever they want.

Is the trade off justifiable? I personally believe not.

They like to kill kids? really? no, they dont. But they will continue to kill us until we stop interfering with THEIR freedoms. But if they did end up killing a bunch of innocent women and children, it would be our just desserts for what we have allowed our government to do to them.

The problem i have with Alex Jones, is he thinks the louder he screams the more people will hear him. Even if you had the entire population informed, (which would effectively destroy the united states as we know it, because all faith would be lost in government and its banking institutions) It would be impossible to come up with an entirely new country with the amount of people that would want to lead.

So the US is just going to keep pushing the inevitable down the road until the world starts to collapse around it, and that way, it wont be this country that brought down the world... it will be the world that brought down the United States.

Hype or not, you have to admit an increase in the general anxiety level when it is announced than men who intend to kill as many Americans as they can have entered the country and have stolen two large vans that would presumably be filled with explosives and detonated at one of the memorial services or elsewhere.

I'm with you, and Ben, as far as trading off liberty for security; there is no reason why the rights of Americans need to be trampled in order to protect us from foreigners, but I'm getting the impression that this really is a "24" type situation and the good guys are hot on the trail of the terrorists.

Or maybe that's just the last vestige of hope I have that our government isn't totally evil speaking.

I've rented a lot of U hauls from several different states. Most of the U hauls I got had Arizona plates. I think they are serviced there.
Also, I saw a member post about disabling the vehicles using GPS or something similar to Onstar. This may not be possible since all the Uhauls I've ever rented were very basic with 1990's technology inside.

If it was terrorist related they would
of just rented the U-HAULS legally and
did what they wanted with them without
all the heat thats on them now..
I mean the 9/11 terrorist did flight
training in the USA legal papers
everything. Just some vans that got
stolen being blown out of proportion
because it is so close to 9/11..

Very good point and I believe you are right. They wouldnt bring the cops down on themselves by stealing the vans. Star for you...
