studies done by anti second amendment liberals most likely

I dont care about your amendment it means nothing to me. I was looking at the facts that is all. You can paint them any colour and slander what you want, the facts remain the facts..
If you want to think your childhood has no bearing on how you turn out as an adult that is your choice. If others are brave enough to try to attempt to address some of the more negative issues of our society that is there choice..

I am really sure your anti-gun laws really prevented the Kray Brothers from using guns. And we all know that no one in the UK uses guns to commit crime. So what happened there?

So you are of the opinion that people are influenced by environment? The old nature vs. nurture argument. So if guns are prohibited in the UK and people in the UK do not condone gun related violence and foster an environment that removes guns, then why are there gun and knife related crimes in the UK?

What they're doing is trying to raise a generation that will gladly get rid of the 2nd Ammendment.

Im 20, been around guns my whole life, my kids will also be raised around guns once/if I have them.
2nd amendment will never be dead in my family line. =)

That kids parents should have taught their son how to act responsibly, respectfully and with a firm understanding of Morals and Ethics.

Just another example of a small group of people who could actually be categorized as mentally ill due to their irrationality and fears, who want to control others and lord over them.

It's time that the rational majority stop enabling these people.

I do have some compassion for them and it must be very traumatic living with that level of fear, but there is a limit of how much any society should put up with from a small group, so far out of the the norm.

When I saw this on the news yesterday as the talking heads basically had a good laugh at these people, I realized it is societies fault, our fault for tolerating this for too long. I can only imagine how broken their children must be by the time they get through with them, transferring their own irrational fears to their children.

We've all seen children from these homes as they struggle to fit in with the huge handicap of fear, programed into them by their parents. Fear is no replacement for teaching children to respect weapons and making them understand the difference between a toy and real item. It borders on abuse in fact to make them so fearful of inanimate objects, instead of them understanding it is the bad people they need to fear.

Carefull there!

I'll bet ya anything, this thread is heavily under --close scrutiny-- by D.H.S. Maybe ol Janet herself! (Someone who never.......had fun, no doubt)

Well you got to live a Little a Taste of an Experience

Personally I think Hunting for one Is greatly reduced in this country ( USA)

Just as Farming Experience and Growing your Food ! is Greatly Reduced

Part of the Reason is ! Law & Regulations from State to State and the Pressure from the Government

What the Hell does that mean your probably saying well see Below

Most Soldiers in WW2 were Raised on Farms or Urban Family's Before and During WW2 had Hobbie Farms you know growing their Own Meat Chickens , Pigs to Cows and Slaughtering it and having the Experience Visualizing The Death that went along with it more less they were prepared of seeing Death IN War as they saw it at Home ..

Unlike Soldier's today Family that raise there Own Livestock for Food is Almost unheard of These Days
so Now Kids are not Experienced from a Early Age to see death from Killing for Food From Home
They now have to Rely on Video Games to Action Movies to see that experience without that LIVE Feeling

I Live in Dairy & Beef Farm Country and Only a Few Farms are Left as back 30 years ago they were every where

Kids Are Not Tough like they used to be and they dont have much of experience of being taught Handling Weapons to Help Hunt Food with their parents as Parents go to the Supermarket to buy their meat as Easy
as getting a Pie ..

Speaking of which Put the Man from the Slaughter House in War The Man would be Fearless

I Can see it now as the thought going though his head in a Unit like in Iraq out in the Field Dessert
that his Unit was just Ambushed

Ohh there that guy ahead of me that just got a head shot and hes not moving meanwhile at the same time hes flash backing about those thousands of Cows he used a Nail /Hammer Gun to the Head and continue going with out a flinch

Well please See this Video as Dough Stanhope Explains Why when he talks about Fishing and the Laws of Restriction of Fishing much could be the same as Hunting

( For ATS Sake :::: Warning Language )
( If you need to skip though it go to the 1:50 min Mark )
( but I Would Prefer you seeing the whole thing if you have the Time )

These folks trying to do this "buy back" scenario are a bunch of frenzied eyed lunatics. This is the same group of tree huggers that believes you can solve every problem by talking through it and removing guns from the hands of anyone who has a 2nd Amendment God-Given Right to have and own one for protection of their family, property and themselves. These are the folks who haven't read recorded historical documents regarding their freedoms and their RIGHTS to those freedoms.

I would be willing to be you that if any of those folks ever encountered someone who was breaking into their home late at night or was being threatened with a knife with their life or bodily harm, they could not defend themselves. No, they would expect the POLICE to come deal with it (Those who Serve and Protect) but they protect the criminals mostly, not the innocent and seldom if ever arrive in time to save anyone or to stop a crime from occurring. Yes, these are the whiners and crybabies who want your guns. They are WEAK and are PANZIES in my honest opinion. They will never go hunting for their food if it came down to it. They would want the NANNY GOVERNMENT to take care of them.

AHAHAHAHA

Yea sure. I started playing with toy guns back when they just shined pretty lights and made noises. Next I got a paintball gun for some fun. And I have no doubt that in time I'll get a real gun for my protection.

I don't do stupid things with guns. Because I have a brain.

It seems if you weren't raised around guns you associate them with violence, but if you where raised with them you associate them with protection. I find that most gun crimes are actually enacted by people who were not raised around them and thus have no respect for them. So id say it's quite the contrary, Guns at an earlier age reduces gun crime because they have a understanding of the repercussions associated with negligence of such a powerful item.

Wonderful and inspiring - In fact I think I have even seen that scene in a movie but where is my anti gravity device and do these kids know how to do anything COOPERATIVE beyond fighting and football? Unless you are in the service what else is there? Anyway I am just saying cooperation and conflict resolution should not be demonized because of some threat from the nerf gun. I don't get it? Psychologically I think I will dub it (JWS) John Wayne Syndrome. It is a counter part to the ladies (MMS) Marilyn Monroe Syndrome.

No, no don't get me wrong. I have the nerf cluster bomb in development now.

We are introducing it to test markets on the west coast. You know how they are out there...

The bigger the blast the more the kids seem to love it. It sends a bunch of crazy shaped foam pieces and foam nails and little artificial shrapnel. It's really kind of an educational toy.
