I dont care about your amendment it means nothing to me. I was looking at the facts that is all. You can paint them any colour and slander what you want, the facts remain the facts..
If you want to think your childhood has no bearing on how you turn out as an adult that is your choice. If others are brave enough to try to attempt to address some of the more negative issues of our society that is there choice..edit on 10-9-2011 by purplemer because: (no reason given)

True enough but if THAT kid was the product of a non violent society maybe he and your son would have been working together on anti gravity or renewable fuel instead of bashing each others heads in.

That kids parents should have taught their son how to act responsibly, respectfully and with a firm understanding of Morals and Ethics.
That bully got taught a lesson that day.
I didn't make a big fuss over my son throttling the other kid but I did give him a pat on the back...

It seems if you weren't raised around guns you associate them with violence, but if you where raised with them you associate them with protection. I find that most gun crimes are actually enacted by people who were not raised around them and thus have no respect for them. So id say it's quite the contrary, Guns at an earlier age reduces gun crime because they have a understanding of the repercussions associated with negligence of such a powerful item.

It is my personal opinion that teaching a human being not to defend themselves and their family is the most heinous of criminal acts!
