Why is the MSM reporting on the Militia threat on the eve of the 911 attacks? What are they planning

Our local news just reported on the terrorist threat and went straight into how Napalitano warns of how dangerous the Militia groups are. Here is the link to their story.

The report says that Militia enrollment has jumped 700% in the last three years. On the news it showed the Michigan Militia during training and I think they are trying to paint all Militias in a bad light. I cant find a video yet of the newscast.

I know some Militia groups and I know people in a couple of different groups. IMO, the Militia groups for the most part are not dangerous at all. Although there may be a few groups out there that might be on the dangerous side of the scale, for the most part, most of the groups are there to help in case they are needed.

Most of these people believe in the Constitution and their Liberties that this country was founded upon. None of them like what is going on in our country right now, but neither do I? That doesn't make me dangerous though. Like me, all most of these guys want is for America to be restored to the way it used to be. They want the Republic fully restored.

I think it is a disgrace for the MSM to lump them in with the propaganda that they are spewing about the possibility of a tenth anniversary 911 attack, which I think is pure fearmongering. The Militias are America's last line of defense if SHTF in my opinion. Thoughts?

One big question that needs to be asked is why is this suddenly in the news? There has been essentially zero mention of those eeevil militias in the media for years & years. Now on the eve of the anniversary of the biggest terrorist strike in the US, one that had nothing to do with militias, they are suddenly back in the news with rather blatant statements trying to tie them to terrorism, It just seems really odd the timing of this coming completely out of nowhere. The dials on my tin foil beanie suddenly pegged out on 'maximim bs'

Since we have been hearing so much about "Domestic Terrorism" do you think the government might be planning something to blame on the Militias? Maybe to start their crackdown on guns? Just throwing it out there....I really dont know what they are up to, but I do think they are up to no good...

Well its probably the way they're going to do it. Upgrade of the Norway shootings. Dress black-ops up in Militia gear and attack soft targets.

As America falls into economic chaos more and more people wants to belong to groups that can bring some refuge to the increase anger against the elite control parties we have.

Sadly you are going to see more and more retaliation against these groups as the power of the elite is threatened by the population.

The power in our government has grown so big that they will not give it back to the people easily.

If the people do not realize that militias are not terrorists but instead our last line of defence against them. And there to help pick up the peices after the fact. Then I just don't know what to think. Either way they will not get the people's guns that easy.

Thats what infuriates me about this. There are so many people that still havent awakened and will believe anything they tell them to believe. If something doesnt happen to wake all the sheeple up, I really dont know if America has much of a future. If they arent awake by now, chances are they will never be...

The only reason they might feel threatened is because of what they have done to this country. They know they have and are destroying it from the inside out. They have every right to fear the people, but I think that the people fear the government at this point because of DHS and the way the country has became a Police State. TPTB have showed time and time again that they will not hesitate to kill you and then call you a terrorist to justify it. Examples....Ruby Ridge and Waco...

Trust me they do fear the people more than you think, eveytime you see more and more restrinctions, interpretations and regulations of constitutional rights against the people you can tell how worry those in power are. Because the only way the think they control the population is with laws.

No one is going to take your guns. Quit being so paranoid about that. Despite what Fox News says, no one is trying to "take your guns so they can install socialism."

Why are they reporting on it? Because there's a bunch of pissed off people with guns. That's why. Not all of these these militias would do anything, but I'd bet there's quite a few that would. Add to that there's still hardcore racists in this country who hate that a black man is president...

'They' aren't planning anything. But they are. There's a lot of people who hate America, you can prove this by just looking around these forums. TPTB don't need to plan anything. 'They' would probably respond with a crackdown if something does happen, but that's another story entirely. But the crackdown wouldn't involve "taking your guns."
Too many people have guns for that event to be even remotely possible.

the constitution and bill of rights are the threat.

the only way to remove each right is with extreme fear. it took a 9/11 to remove the right to privacy.

just think what it will take to remove the right to bear arms and speak freely.

the plan is/was/always will be to make the constitution the source that enabled the fear.

meanwhile, the populous in various ways is being programmed to respond to fear in a negative self destructive way.

the problem is that people are still stuck in this fantasy world where they think they can 'remove' those in power from that power. this is foolish as those in power have already made it clear that they have a rogue mindset, and the last thing anybody on a power trip does is give up their power willingly.

therefore, since we understand that the real power lies with the people, it is the poeple that must bestow that power elsewhere. such as institutes that we control.

example. the department of education versus a group like the PTA. the PTA could easily overpower the department of education if they had the organization they had decades ago.

same thing with the militias, or any civillian group for that matter.

they are banking on the fact that your average american doesnt realize they weild the real power. that is what makes it a power grab.

if we dont organize quickly on our own in every facet of life imaginable were screwed.

that means you may even have to give up your daily routine temporarily....heaven forbid....

Militia= organized armed peoples that are looking out for their own.

This is a direct threat to any government that wants more control.......Shal I mention that the attendance is growing..............It shows that more people are starting to get organized= armed peoples looking to change the rules as they see fit........Which means that the people making hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars in Washington would not have their jobs....Which means that they would have to get a real job.......

The FBI and DHS is currently compiling a list of people whom subscribe to the "sovereign citizen's movement" which is a movement of people whom believe in the core values of the constitution and believe that we are not subjects to the government but that the government is a subject unto the people. The FBI and DHS have made numerous false claims against these people. While just as in any group there are those whom have extreme beliefs the movement for the most part is only composed of people who believe in strict adherence to the founding principles of the constitution.

There have even been attempts by the FBI and DHS to equate the Tea Party to members of these groups, which I would say is pretty close to the truth in most cases. Niether the Tea Party or the Sovereign Citizens are a violent group, it's just that they are a minority group for the most part.

The bottom line, regardless of whether you like the Tea Party of the Sovereign Citizens, neither of these groups are terrorist groups. This is just a ploy by the government to label anyone that they see as a threat to their agenda and demonize their beliefs. It is the way of our current government, do all they can to interfere with liberty and oppress free will in order to enforce their laws.

Thomas Jefferson said that "Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual."

In all truth it would probably be scary if we really know how many citizens were on some type of list or another that our government has compiled. It is all done for the ultimate purpose of control of the masses and I think, eventual destruction of our second amendment. First of all, I dont watch Fox news. I cant stand them to tell you the truth. And yes I agree with you, there are a lot of pissed off people in the country right now. There are some that are having a hard time not reacting to what is going on, but they will not act unless they are pushed into reacting.

I know there are still some in America that are racists, but I really don't believe that rascism has anything to do with why the Militias along with thousands of everyday Citizens are pissed off, so please dont play the proverbial Race Card.

This administration has done absolutely nothing for the country and has just made things worse, and continue to make things worse. They dont care about America, they just care about hanging on to their power. And no matter what you think, they would love to take all the guns away from the people, they just havent figured out how to do that impossible feat yet...

I agree with your entire post, but you really hit the nail on the head with this quote. I have believed for a while now that I am probably on one of their "lists", from different things I have posted on different sites, but it doesn't worry me. I have done research into all the Fusion Centers around the country that spy and collect intel on us Citizens and the last time I checked, it was rumored to be a list consisting of almost 500,000 names. A half a million people! Im sure it is more by now.

And they will put that list to use in the name of safety someday. Thats what my thoughts are anyway. I could be wrong, but I dont think I am. Believe me when I say, I hope I AM wrong about this...
