Fox News is snubbing Ron Paul again - Poll shows Paul won 2-1 over Romney

Fox sure has become everything it used to pride itself as being against. Check out the poll results below:

GOP Debate Poll

Now, I've been watching Fox and Friends since it came on this morning. Not one word of Ron Paul's performance in the debate. They keep touting their guy Perry, but he came in third in the poll. Paul whipped Perry more than 3-1.

I didn't think they were even having a poll. I only got to watch the 2nd hour of it. I guess it had already been taking down because he was getting so many votes. They absolutely are refusing to face the facts that the people are on a roll and Ron Paul is gaining more support every day.

You must have missed the part where one of the guys mentioned that RP had 47% in the online poll and Gretchen said his supporters were very loyal. I agree that they spend more time on Perry and Romney, but to say they didn't mention the fact that RP was leading the poll is just plain wrong.

Why do the news channels assume a phone pull with 2500 respondents is more accurate than an online poll with 85,000 respondents?

They seem to ignore the online polls like Ron Paul has some kind of magic over them, but they assume a very small sampling by telephone is 100% accurate? I don't understand their logic.

Paul was interviewed last night and asked why he wouldn't come on Fox News, so I'm not sure the OP is dealing with the facts.

Almost every media outlet are touting Perry and Romney as the front runners and literally ignoring everybody else. It's still early though, things mat change...though I seriously doubt it.

The MSM is already in the tank, but let's say Paul or Cain take the Primary, will the MSM say, "Oops! Didn't see that one coming!"

I highly doubt it.

Yep, the first primary is going to be a big deal.

Actually the Florida Straw Poll on Sept 24th is going to be a big deal, because it is a straw poll by delegates from each county, so it will be a fair assessment of how the primary might go.

I will be at the Straw Poll, and I will be posting my pics and interactions on ATS on Sunday the 25th.

This is a perfect example of why I love ATS. One of our own gathering first hand info. There is plenty of time for Ron. He has the money to continue and we, his supporters, are only becoming more determined with every snub.

Give the american public more credit. The MSM can't stop the great awakening and real poll numbers prove it.

I'm looking forward to your report. Suggestion: can you try to get pix showing how many people are supporting each candidate? Maybe shots of banners or placards.

It will be a good poll, as polls go, because it captures every county.

I will definitely try to get pics of the crowd, and the signs, and anything that happens during commercial breaks, etc.

I don't know what type of access or seats I will have, but I'm going to push my luck as much as possible and try to get good info!

Actually, I haven't wanted to get anyone's hopes up too high, because I don't know what level of access I have been given, but I have been given Press Credentials for the event, so hopefully that will reap big rewards!

Online Polls are very easy to manipulate, lets be honest Ron Paul supporters do spam polls quite often, that is not to say the polls are illegitimate, but when you phone a few thousand random people, it is much easier to make sure nothing is manipulated and you truly are getting a view from the average American. I dislike polls in general though to be honest....

Maybe because FOX News can look back 4 years ago and realize that Ron Paul winning an online poll is not news?

But it may just work.

What this tells me is that Ron Paul has the support of those who actually care. The other candidates by and large don't have enough rabid support to win any kind of online poll. Whether or not this rabid support can translate into enough actual votes to shake things up remains to be seen.

Actually, and surprisingly, this election appears to be playing right into Paul's hands. Unless the media is successful in their attempts to prop up Huntsman, we will soon be left with basically Romney and Perry, with Paul sticking it to them. Paul already seems to be getting the upper hand on Perry, and may be able to sufficiently erode his shaky base of support. Knock Perry down far enough, and Romney jumps back to the top. BUT, will people really be able and willing to buy Romney? Creepy, plastic Romney? This could end of being a lot of fun.

It's even less than 2500 telephone calls. I did some research in August on "realclearpolitics" and it was more like an average of 1000 calls those "polls" are sending out.. Not to mention the fact that no-one knows where they get the telephone numbers from.

Its simple.

All media outlet polls do not separate U.S. voters from everyone else. MSNBC, CNN, ABC, Fox, and many others allow people to vote in their polls regardless about specifics. Every time I see one of you folks screaming, "What about Paul", I keep noticing that you folks are looking at the wrong polls.

Only 29% of GOP voters in Iowa would describe Paul’s views as mainstream, while a majority (52%) sees his views as extreme. Another 20% are undecided.

I call that a problem.
