lol...what? if he did that, he'd come off as whiny, you KNOW how the media would spin it given his current position as a threat against the establishment.

Ron looks composed, Perry looks unrestrained, who is more presidential in this particular case?

You're making a story up out of the picture and some odd scenario that should've happened and because that odd scenario didn't happen, you say Paul would be a weak president.

That is an obvious trolling right there.

OK I suspect you are trolling, but for the sake of you sincerely being confused.
I said the word YOU, but in a general sense. The giveaway that I don't literally mean YOU is that you aren't the one with that job.

Just more of the same stuff you threw at me in the Sarah Palin thread. Alright so what is the difference between calling me that alone, or calling everyone who would support the death penalty a Nazi? Clearly you do not understand what it means to be Nazi. I would recommend you do some research on it, because you seem to be suggesting that being a conservative is being Nazi. Is that what you believe? Or just people who support the death penalty? Last I checked, that is not a viable definition for Nazism.

For you, a working definition of Nazi

. A member of the National Socialist German Workers' Party, founded in Germany in 1919 and brought to power in 1933 under Adolf Hitler.
often nazi An adherent or advocate of policies characteristic of Nazism; a fascist.
adj.
Of, relating to, controlled by, or typical of the National Socialist German Workers' Party
Historical Terms) a member of the fascist National Socialist German Workers' Party, which was founded in 1919 and seized political control in Germany in 1933 under the Austrian-born German dictator Adolf Hitler (1889-1945)
2. Derogatory anyone who thinks or acts like a Nazi, esp showing racism, brutality, etc.
adj
(Historical Terms) of, characteristic of, or relating to the Nazis
Nazi - a German member of Adolf Hitler's political party
German Nazi
Brownshirt - a member of the Nazi SA which wore brown uniforms
fascist - an adherent of fascism or other right-wing authoritarian views
storm trooper - a member of the Nazi SA

nazi - derogatory term for a person who is fanatically dedicated to, or seeks to control, some activity, practice, etc.
derogation, disparagement, depreciation - a communication that belittles somebody or something
controller, restrainer - a person who directs and restrains
Adj. 1. Nazi - relating to or consistent with or typical of the ideology and practice of Nazism or the Nazis; "the total Nazi crime"; "the Nazi interpretation of history"
2. Nazi - relating to a form of socialism; "the national socialist party came to power in Germany in 1933"

So murderers should be "studied"?? Why? We know what caused them to act. They got angry, or they are sick and demented and have no respect for the value of life. Theres absolutely no value from studying them.

The only normal response to a murderer is to put him to death. Thats it. Its called justice. Its called reaping what you sow. Thats how the universe appears to work - Karma - and thats how we should govern society, if we care to actually keep it from becoming anrachy.

Yup!, I should have veiled my obvious trolling attempt a bit better.

For the record, I think both RPs are douches.

I can't help but think that the GOP is still that much further ahead of it's people. It strongly seems that they still are playing games with everyone. They know what they are doing...

It is also usually only for extremely violent crimes. But the case of Casey Anthony shows that it still has to be beyond the shadow of a doubt, as they did not have sufficient evidence to directly tie her to Calee's death.

Ah so Im not the only one being accused of trolling here. Why do people pull out the troll attack any time someone opposes an opinion?

Because he should've been discussing the issue but was making up fantasy scenarios and making statements based on that fantasy scenario.

Why would anybody do that anyways?

Not anyone that supports the death penalty, but one of the few people with power to stop the execution not worrying that he might be letting innocent people die. Maybe being empathetic and considering how awful it would be to be innocent and facing death row with no hope is socialist or liberal of me. Or at least that seems to be your only argument.. just ad hominem attacks.

Do we know what was said during these photos yet?

You would think Ron Paul's committee would publish somewhere on the net, what was said here if it reflected a negative light on Rick Perry.

What is?

I think every crime is unique. If someone accidently kills another person, and theres enough evidence to exonerate him, we should be as lenient as possible in passing a verdict

But, if someone kills with forethought, ie; 1st degree murder, and now he hopes to get away with a slap on the wrist, throw him in jail and let the tax payers pay the price?

YA RIGHT! In my mind, the quicker the trial, the faster we can get this miscreant out of the world. People who kill knowing the price wont be that bad are more likely to commit that crime.

If however we show no tolerance for such wicked lawlessness, people will fear the system, in the same way that a killer should fear God, since hes gonna suffer for having killed another human being. Just how the cosmos was established. it would be nice if just knew, intuitively, not to commit such horrible crimes against man and God, but unfortanately, mankind in his current existential state requires law to keep his reckless arrogance from flying off the handle.

But the case of Casey Anthony shows that it still has to be beyond the shadow of a doubt, as they did not have sufficient evidence to directly tie her to Calee's death.

Ridiculous. In any normal court Casey Anthony would be having needles injected into her now for killing her own child. Any psychological examination of this girl should make clear what is patently obvious to anyone with any self knowledge; shes a narcissist. Look at what her own ex-boyfriend said about her and her family. They're distubed. Shes disturbed because her family was disturbed. The result? She murders her child to free herself from the burdens of motherhood. She wanted her social life back.

Dont get me wrong. She will suffer either way. Its just it looks very bad upon us - mankind, to let such a repulsive woman get away scott free.

I don't necessarily even agree with him. There is a reason why calling people trolls (or Nazis) is not considered good debate decorum.

I actually disagree. I think Casey Anthony was innocent of murder. I have posted my theory in other threads.
Trial by media should not be tolerated.

The Death Penalty is. I am supportive of your position to the point that only the most violentand heinous murders would be considered. The Casey Anthony trial was huge and most people thought she was going to possibly get the death penalty. We even watched some of it at work one day. I heard a lot of co workers discussing it. In general, Floridians thought she was guilty, but they simply didn't have enough evidence to convict her, and she had a very astute attorney.
It took three years for it even to come to triral, and it was publicized for much of that time. They had to get jurors from Tampa in order to have an unbiased jury.

i'm in agreement with you....but it would have been great for Dr. Paul's popularity if the mikes would have picked him saying to Perry: :you must be out of your rabbit ass mind. take your effin hands off me and if you touch me again i'm gonna put you on your back right here if front of God and everybody else"

The devil in me wants to say, yes, that would have rocked. However, I'm trying to be good, here.....and you are diabolical trying to tempt me to the dark side.....

Based on the evidence, and her personality - and what her own ex-boyfriend had to say about her, it looks as if she did this to free herself from the burdens of raising a child, at her age - i believe she was 21 when she did it.

95% of me thinks she is guilty.
