Truth or Dare...

Ok that was not an easy assignment but I think pulled it off

Today I was working near Engreux right along the Ourthe River. I heard this incredible hissing noise that at first I thought was giant snake at my feet! Then from out of the reeds just in front of me came a more familiar honk and what emerged was a Cygnus altratus or Black Swan. Its size was amazing with it head stretched out easily on level with my own and when it spread its wings at me I was nearly bowled over. I crouched down fairly well stunned by surprise and watched this beautiful bird as it waddled into the river, hissing all the while, and swam away. I did have my phone to take a quick pic but my hands were shaking so badly that I fumbled it into the reeds as a grabbed it and it took me some time to recover it. I have never seen anything similar in this area and am still well amazed!

I accept the dare, but will probably fail miserably at it !!

The thread is a " Dare " thread, but you probably worked that baby out
So you can either request a dare....be given a dare regardless....or issue a dare to someone on the thread, but preferably not me of course !!

Now the dares just have to be fun, they can be silly as you like, but nothing offensive or anything likely to upset the children !!

The dare can be done in 2 ways....either on this thread, or the dare could be moved to another thread i.e a thread that you personally have authored, or maybe one that the person you have requested to do the dare has authored .

So, in this case, and cos you SOOOO know I'm going to give you a dare, this is your mission...

I dare you, on the thread below, to post a reply describing in detail how you witnessed a dozen cows being laser beamed into a mothership last night
It must contain the words " Moo " " Beam me up Scotty " and " Close encounter of the bovine kind "

The thread I selected for you was obviously a fun thread that you authored, so it was perfect for a " Dare "
Obviously it would be unsuitable to link to any threads that were originally posted on ATS because the threads are kinda serious on there.
But many threads here on BTS are fun, so they are perfect for the purposes of having some fun on this thread.

Oooops only just noticed that this thread had been dug back up, unfortunately in my absence during the dark few weeks when my pc was unfit for purpose !!

Now we all need to blame Rising Against, because he was in charge of my threads at that time, but he was obviously too busy with bladdy JFK to notice !!

Hey....in RA's defense Ms UK ....it would take 3 RA's 4 super-mods and another 3 site admins just to keep YOU under control ...lol much less your threads!!!

Now it has come to my attention that a certain pirate, that has got absolutely NO chance of controlling a certain uk today, did not do his given " Dare" on this thread !!!

This behaviour is deemed to be wusspuss behaviour, and must be rectified immediately !!

I shall reply..but it will be on MY terms. Not yours. It shall be on this thread, as it is more relevant to this discussion now.

UK asked who let the cows out on my other thread. Well

Apparently you did Ms UK. "Mooo" you said. "There shall be no bovine antelopers on this English countryside. Not on my watch she cried!"

Then Rising Against rose against her! As UK herself was indeed the perpetrator of the close encounter of the bovine kind!!!
RA fired his laser first. But UK being the superhuman immortal she is side stepped the ray. She kicked him dressed in her superhero costume. It was a cross between a cow, and cat woman! But she also wore a cowboy hat! And it was all made of spandex!

RA fell to the ground. The cows were rounded up. UK left. She has escaped this time; the cows in tow. Webpirate wanted to go in pursuit. Beam me up Scotty. And beam RA directly to sick bay.

"Sorry. He's dead Jim."

Don't worry RA....I'll avenge you!!!
