Not throwing your idea away by any means, but just a question:

If we 'packed up and moved' from Venus, why would we have to relearn everything? Why would we not continue to advance even more once we got here?

Edit to Add: Why would they create us to inhabit Earth if they needed it for themselves?

I think Spirit Science explains this thought quite nicely. It is just a theory. However, I do have a strong belief that this could be possible.

I don't think they wanted us to learn to do the type of things we are doing now. They wanted us to care for our planet and live in harmony with nature because they as a civilization figured out that this was the only way to survive. If you think about it, anything we are doing technologically speaking, can be manifested in ways that are helpful to the planet and at the same time advancing our technology. That much "technology" has very much proven. The thing is, these oil companies and nuclear companies and coal companies are buying and or assassinating off anyone or anything that challenges them. Therefore true progress cannot flourish because of them. Just take my theory as truth for a moment and lets just say the time came for us to pack up and leave, what do you think we would tell the next planet? Do you think for one moment that we would tell them to drill for and burn oil? Coal? Radioactive Material? I don't believe for one moment that we as a world would tell them that this is ok, nor would we even remotely give them any instance for thought that this type of technology should be sought after because WE HERE ON EARTH, KNOW what such technology would do to a planet. Per sumerian history, the Annunaki created us as slaves and told us to harvest gold for them. What could be the purpose behind this? This is the reason gold is still valuable today and why every culture and civilization since Sumer, has sought gold. I wonder if there is something about GOLD that science is over looking? What yall think about that?

Interesting debates on this, however some of the science that ones on that topic were talking about is older and since been proven failed science. As far as Mars is concerned, what if water never used to be on mars, and its just now forming, and as the sun gets bigger, it evaporates some of that water to make an atmosphere? With an atmosphere like ours, the rich and elites would race to get to mars. Is mars close enough we could travel there? YES! we could do it with CURRENT technology, just imagine what tech we would have by the precipice of this planet.
