My reoccuring First Contact Daydream (a good story about what I fantasize would happen)

The year 2012 is the year we make contact with species of beings from other parts of the galaxy/universe. Believing it is time for Humanity to rise to another level of awareness with life in the galaxy, a group of benevolent aliens 4 million years more advanced then humans acquire 5 males that give off a vibraition of higher frequency (Indigos or lightworkers if you will) and take them aboard a star cruiser where their bodies are changed, made taller and stronger and are given technology that will help protect them from the danger they could possibly face upon retuning to earth to explain their encounter. The aliens, aware of our use of the internet and global communications broadcast a signal that interrupts television across the planet. In this message they explain that they are benevolent, that humanity is not alone in the universe and that they will return the 5 males to Earth so that humans, not aliens themselves, can explain to other humans what they encountered and soothe much of the anxiety that swept across the world due to the broadcast. Upon returning to earth the 5 males are called to testify about their experience. (of course they wouldnt literally "testify" because they didnt commit any crime by willingly being acquired by aliens). The 5 men from 5 different countries each from 5 different races and ethnicites would explain the same story. The aliens do not wish harm. they have been monitoring humanity for millenia and feel now is the right time to expose themslves. they explain that the aliens have alternative energies that would put fossil fuel and nuclear energy to shame and cures for numerous diseases including a cure for HIV. As expected everybody on earth has varying opinions on the arrival of the aliens. Some claim them to be demons, on the other end many alien cults spring up deifying the Aliens. Scientists and the open minded argue that the arrival has vast potentioal for what we can learn about the universe, while conservatives want the aliens to leave earth and never return. How humanity views itself is called into serious question. No longer does "race" as we commonly think of it matter to more and more people. We now live in a new world (seeing as how the old one ended when the aliens made their presence known and would make sense of all the end of the world notions put forth by different religions). Nothing but the human race exists now.

Very interesting take on what you'd like to happen in 2012. However, the possibilities are many, including that aliens many not reveal themselves at all. 2012 may pass by, with many other revolutionary occurrences in human history but none involving ET disclosure of the sort.

I wish that it would though; so we could break the chains the elites have everyone in. Depending on oil, government, corrupt pharmecutical, agricultural, multinational corporations. Life should be an adventure with freedom at its base, but it feels like freedom is only shrinking while at the same time accommodating to our mental state. If aliens ever show themselves and give us a little boost, we can truly set off into a new era like no other.
