I don't understand the argument going on here, your orginal post came across like you had missed the point but obviously you have not. The purpose of the thread is to highlight techniques that have been used and will be used (in coming days) to circumcise any OS critics.

i live in the uk on the day of 9/11 i can remember it like yesterday because i had just returned hime after 5 weeks away working 1 i heard the shutters of bar opposite opening so i decided 2 go over i left the tv on with the twin towers on screen thinking it was a film . on entering the bar i was first in i told bar man to turn large screen on to sports channel to be told THIS IS ON ALL CHANNELS strange that as new york is 5 hours behind uk that would make it 6 .40 am new york QUIZZ HUNDERDS OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE RADIOS AT WORK ETC i have i know this answer we cant ALL BE NUTS just thinking eh .

It's a shame, that newspaper was one of the better ones for exposing corruption and wrongdoings etc...they should get rid of that no neck little twerp pretending to be a reporter quick smart, if they want to retain their credibility.

I too watched this 'Live' in the UK on the BBC, on 9/11.

I had been up all night (suffer bad bouts of insomnia), and was flicking through the crap on TV and the 'whole 9/11 thing' flashed up and was being reported.

This was between 8 and 9 AM! on the day of the attacks!?

I don't know how else to say it, other that how it is...the first tower was hit at 08:46:40secs...yet i was watching it at that time UK TIME, which meant New York would have been at 03:46:40secs...middle of the bloody night.

The earliest i could have seen it UK time would have been mid afternoon around 2pm, which it most certainly wasn't when i watched it.

And the really odd thing about it in my mind? I hadn't considered this simple point before!

I cannot understand why not. Unless there is a lot more 'PM' going on that any of us truly realise...but that's veering off into tin foil hat territory really.

I distinctly remember seeing this in the morning, i'd been up all night with insomnia.

The only conclusion i can make is that somehow, i'm mistaken...i really don't think i am, but it's the only logical conclusion i can draw.

My wife remembers my shouting up to her (we were both off work) about it...perhaps we're both having a false memory type effect or something.

It's actually rattled me more, that i didn't make the connection with what i was watching, and the time difference.
