1 playing the upper part from just after it's cut down and turned. The other seems to appear at the start, moves off, and you forget him... I rekon he's getting in the legs, they attach, and they do a double-up. The arms on the top guy seem very limited to how high they can go, they're not that long.

The fact that you posted a link to that thread, proves that you do not 'get it.'

It is exactly how I said. If you think that 'second line' is something that needs to be added to your post, then you know that the post itself, is pointless.

All that 'Second line' actually does, is show that you knew your post was meaningless, before you even posted it.

I couldn't see the first vid, as the link is blocked...but on the AGT video, it's obviously one of the human torso guys... There's one often on the Jerry Springer show. I sometimes wonder how these guys live with so much body missing, but they do.

Neatly done visual trick though... There was another magician on AGT this year, that was really good. I had to actually watch some of his tricks 3 times before figuring out how they were done, and that rarely happens. Simply put, there are a few basic trick elements that are then worked into an illusion, and it's the "packaging" and show around the trick that really makes the illusion entertaining.

Some of the basics are the use of twins (especially for the disappear here, reappear here tricks), the use of compartments that are made to look smaller (to hide an assistant, or part of an assistant...using ridges, black paint, forced perspective to look smaller than they are), trap doors (especially for disappearing acts), distraction (to move something or someone usually), etc.

However, takes real skill to get the timing right, do things quickly, and "sell" an illusion, even if you can figure out how it's done, and that's one of the things I appreciate in watching good magic.
