Yep.

Anything that conducts electricity will have a magnetic field around it. Anything with a magnetic field can be repulsed by a magnet.

Secondary school physics.

This is how non magnetic material magically appears magnetic!! Unl;ess you did physics at school.....and paid attention!

Yes, as was stated in the opening post.
None claimed it's magic or anti gravity.

Looks sweet.

Keep up the good work. You are helping a guy stay employed at the machine shop

Baddazz.

I will certainly buy one.

Please keep us informed.

Sweet deal, can you build a bigger model so you can drive it around?

Thats so cool. I would definitely buy that if you started selling

Really nice work Buddy!

Does your UFO have to be spinning like the "levitron" type devices,or is it just balanced perfectly and remains still?

Wiked design, and I liked the idea earlier someone mentioned about having the base look like a pyramid, with the UFO hovering above.

Bob Lazar will be well chuffed if you send him a free one I bet!

BTW-have you thought about approaching the ATS owners-you could do a limited edition with the ATS logo etched onto the UFO maybe?
Or the new X Files movie is out next year-I would approach the film company about a collaboration/promo for the movie.

Go for it Bud-Its that cool a design IMO.

Very cool. All you need to do now is build the craft to scale, and go for a ride

I know short replies are discouraged but, Bloody Cool!!!!

I'd buy one too. It looks fantastic.

16V 1000uF what are the capacitors used for in the circuit, if I may ask..

This is all electromagnetic force?

Verrrry interesting

i want one too. if you start selling please let me know. Also is it possible to try actual anti-gravity via high voltage or some thing i read about high voltages and electrons blah blah... read so much stuff over the years

do have videos, or anything that shows this isn't just clever trickery with magnets?

(always skeptical with stuff I read)

Between you and minto...i worry about this place sometimes.

Beavers, this is a magnetically levitated model of a UFO.

The OP explains and shows this in detail...Minto...of course not.

Blimey.

Nice model OP, how much would you be thinking of flogging them for, if you had enough interest?

Cheers.

Oh he!! No!!! If he worked at NASA, he'd disappear or be discredited like Bob Lazar!

Why don't you ask Bob himself to help? He now lives up in Michigan and owns a
company called United Nuclear.

The earth itself is like one big giant electromagnetic motor. It would not be as concentrated though...the magnetic strength, that is.

Nice job you made this, but honestly I don't see the difference between this and a magnetic golf ball floating. It just looks like a UFO. And it can't hover unless it is over that board, there are thousands of things on Earth that do that. I will say nice job (Since you developed one on your own,) but anything else isn't amazing. I will have my jaw drop when you make a full scale model that can float without the magnetic board underneath it. Until then, it's a children's toy shaped like a UFO.
