Fire near Groom Lake

The Las Vegas Sun is reporting that a fire is burning in the Sheep Range, which are the mountains south west of the base. It has been burning for a week and there are no plans to put it out. That is sometimes the case in the desert since there isn't very much fuel to sustain a fire. That is, they often let the fire just burn itself out.
