Halliburton sues BP over Gulf oil spill

US oil services giant Halliburton is filing a defamation lawsuit against BP over the devastating 2010 oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

They are suing BP for defamation after BP blamed them for the well cap failure. Halliburton are claiming BP gave them inaccurate information about the actual location of hydrocarbon zones in the well which they see as critcal to doing their job there.

And the blame game continues...

Is it really possible to defame Halliburton? I would think that calling them bloodsucking vampires would be a compliment.

Perfect. More money in Halliburton's pocket, and an opportunity for BP to claim temporaty bankruptcy. More evidence they're all working together. Those bastards.

Watched conspiracy theory with jesse ventura ( oil spill conspiracy on you tube ), very good, seems to get to the core of the conspiracy ! States along the lines off, haliburton bought out the worlds leading oil clean up company 11 days before the spill, the bp c.e.o selling 1/3 of his shares too. the corexit cleaning agent is toxic and just sinks the oil to the floor and hides it untill it gets washed up. and the money made by the clean up operation, justifys the spill ? the media in britain has no coverege of the spill these days ?
