So, their chat isn't down, the certificate is revoked? What does this mean? Is it on my end or thiers? I'm not tech savvy.

Check your computers date and time. A lot of times if its off it will cause that same error

So let me see if I have this straight.
This 60gb file contains all the cables given by pvt. Manning, including those given to the media for redaction and release, minus those in the ”insurance file”, and they are all unredacted?

That seems pretty big to me, bigger than some seem to be treating it.

What program do I use to open it? I downloaded the 557MB file. I can't find intructions on what program to us? Anyone know of good freeware?

Haven't downloaded it myself. I know the final archive is a 7zip file 7zip.org... .
Think they said they used OpenSSL to encrypt it, Google that.

No, the insurance file remains as an insurance file, according to what they've said on twitter. The latest release and this too, I guess, are separate.

It still is parts of the insurance file, and includes mostly everything in it.
