Well, I'm not blind and I see no coincidence in the fact that the comet changed the course right when your "lens flare" spots! What you want?? Force people into believing it IS a lens flare??

Am I the only one in this thread disgusted by all the parroting for Phage? I agree, his wisdom on these subjects is superb, but all this demanding for Phage to come save the day and these "Nobody else's opinion matters to me" comments are rather disturbing.

Luckily, there have been others in this thread who have provided their own explanations with far more detail than Phage has done. If anything, Phage is strengthening their arguments, not the other way around. Give credit where credit is due.

How can we deny ignorance with only one point of view?

Phage, I don't know. I guess I can say that I am on the cusp at 50 - 50 though. I am not entirely convinced that it's a lens flare, just as I am not entirely convinced that it's not. ~SheopleNation

Note that Jupiter did not leave the frame of HI2. The effect occurs when a bright object leaves the field of view of HI1.

HI2 is a different instrument. It does not produce the same effects as HI1.

edit on 9/1/2011 by Phage because: (no reason given)

The pulse starts before Jupiter leave the frame of HI1. The blast or whatever it is, starts after Jupiter has left the frame, but the pulse is faintly seen starting before Jupiter leave it.

How many people have agreed that ELENIN changed the course, after they have seen that video??? Take a look at the comments in all YT channels where it was uploaded. They said what they saw. In the 1024 x 1024 video, it's even more evident. I don't need to force nobody into believing it. You are the one making the effort to make them believe otherwise.

And you completely ignore the fact that the identical thing happens every time a bright object leaves (or is leaving) the field of view.

You seem to not believe in coincidence so it must be that there is some relationship between a bright object leaving the field of view and seeing the effect. So, for some reason, whenever it happens there is a "wave" of something which is produced. It cannot be that it is an effect produced by the instrument.

Sure. And here's Mercury "changing course". What made that happen?

I stopped reading after the first time there was a call for some D.B. whose only skill is to quietly Google EVERY DAMNED THING and then come back here and tow the party line.
It sickens me and saddens me that there are so many people, ATS members no less, who turn off their brains and beg another member to tell them what to think.
It is the primary reason we are in the trouble we are in as a planet.
Too many followers and not enough leaders.
Get some self respect.
Stand on your own two feet.
Get your information from MANY sources, not just some Google whizz!

Douchebaggery at its finest.

I will provide you a link which will give you instant access to all of the secret knowledge and wisdom
your savior has access to.

Here ya go, now you too can be a cult leader.

Elenin hasn't changed course.

It just looks that way due to it's movements relative to STEREO B.

You're forgetting or ignoring that we're looking at a 3D space on a 2D image.

STEREO B is moving in a different direction and at a different speed to Elenin.

So again, Elenin hasn't changed direction.

Open your mind!

I haven't been following elenin anymore nor any of the post break-up hijinks, however was soho recently "rolled"? wouldn't that explain a direction change? did it already slingshot around the sun?

I don't see Mercury changing course. I see a glitch in the camera, which caused a quick "jump". ELENIN is seen making a clear abrupt turn when your "flare" occurs. In the 1024x1024 it's more evident.

I don't see anything about a scheduled roll but when it does happen the image is corrected to keep the Sun "right side up".

BTW, if anyone is interested the recent "red" images can be acquired here:

1 - Either the reptilian rulers of this planet blew it up with Telsa technology
or
2 - There are humans on other planets, who are more advanced than us, and are destroying it, to save us

Only plausible answers.
Either way, im glad, we have another day to fight the system.

A camera glitch? That makes Mercury change direction?

Tell you what. I selected one image a day to keep the size of the animation file reasonable. Why don't you go and look at the slideshow yourself (you know how to do that, right). Select every image for the time span. See if you think it's a glitch.

On second thought, never mind. You will still think it's a glitch.
I'm done.

looking at that gif, are you implying it has already started to go around the sun? if so, I must say, time sure has flown by with this thing. it seems like only yesterday it was a mere armada of reptillian starships.

I agree!

Too many times do we see a thread started where everyone just blindly believes the information provided in the OP without doing any research for themselves, it's even better when the source of information comes from just a youtube video.

"Well the youtube vid said so, so it must be true!"

while it's true a youtube video most always carries alot of cred, I tend to stay on the sideline till I see a few "namastes", then I know we are dealing with the genuine article sir!!
