It must not have been a hunting arrow head, with the sharp blades. or it was very dull if so. Any hit on a man with a proper bolt would bleed him out quickly, to death unless a tourniquet was applied, properly and swiftly.

The kids were punks on their way to career criminals who needed to be taught a lesson to end that path. Don't care who their parents were, they obviously had crappy parents who needed their parent licenses taken away.

a few years ago, there was a trend of kids dropping chunks of concrete off overpasses onto cars.
a young teacher and mother died because of this.
I don't know if I could get upset at the driver for shooting at the kid.
Crossbow is a strange weapon of chopince.. seems if you had time to lock and shott a crossbow that you could just leave and call a cop.

yep, they needed to be shot, any of them throwing rocks at cars, if heavy enough to do real damage.
