I've just checked out the thread on Chani. Consensus there seems to be that if you really, truly want to believe with all your heart that a faster than light starpilot is secretly sending text messages from an important meeting of The Alliance, that's the place to be. Because ATS is full of meanies who prefer reality.

This is really funny. The original guy on GLP, named Captain S, has already stated that Bluecoat2 is an imposter and that he (Captain S) has not had access to the internet since his last post on GLP.

I'll repeat that. Captain S from the original thread on GLP is not the same person as Bluecoat2 on the Chani project forums. Captain S has stated he will be back on Thursday with some more information.

I don't really buy either story, but this Bluecoat2 person on Chani project is obviously just f**king with all of you. The Alliance is making a vote? You really believe this crap? Come on people...

The second Captain S who mentioned 'Bluecoat2' had a different User ID (which is a number) than the first Captain S. So that guy is definitely not the OP on GLP and even guys at GLP doubt that and have voiced the same on the thread.

So now there's some doubt as to whether the current hoaxer is the original hoaxer, and a strong possibility that there is a third hoaxer! This thread gets better by the minute. Nice way to spend a rainy Sunday morning.

And why exactly are you following this thread? Don't tell me that you follow all the threads here in ATS. Just leave this thread if you think that this is just a waste of time. We, on the other hand, are here because we like suspense.

The BIG EVENT IN 5 DAYS nonsense was originally posted on the Chani project by Bluecoat2, claiming he was Captain S from the original GLP post. Since then, Captain S has stated that he is not the same person as Bluecoat2. The person named Captain S on GLP has never made any mention of a big event in 5 days or anything like that. That was all done by Bluecoat2 on the Chani project forums.

Yes, you have it right, although if I understand correctly, user ID numbers on GLP depend on IP address, so if you post from a different computer on the same user name, the ID numbers will not be the same.
